Ch.15 Promises

Lucia

       I walk into the living room to see Sage throwing away some flowers. She seems upset so I ask her what's wrong. She looks at me with tears in her eyes and hugs me clinging to me like she's afraid someone might try to take her away from me.

       "Hh-he's back please don't let him take me again." I gently wipe away her tears and hold her hands. "Baby you have nothing to fear when your with me, I promise I will always protect you from anyone." She stops crying and looks at me suprised and gently places her lips over mine giving me soft kiss.

    "Thank you I'll tell you about him but not right now I don't want to ruin the mood." I smile at her I'm happy she wants to be open with me. But I hope she understands when I kill whoever is making her this afraid of them. Nobody will ever hurt my girl again because I'm here to protect her.

Me and Sage are standing in the kitchen just holding each other when there's a knock at the door. I walk over and open it to see Alynna and some girl I've never met. Before I could say anything to Alynna Sage comes over and gives both the girl I don't know and Alynna a hug.

    "Sageeeee bestie you look hot. Oh and you must be Lucia Sage's girlfriend." She slurs I'm pretty sure she's already drunk I'm just happy Sage is calling me her girlfriend to her friends. I introduce myself to both of them I'm not sure if Alynna wants people to know about her past so I pretend I don't know her.

"Lucia it's fine my wife knows I used to be a stripper. I can't believe your dating Sage though I would never believe she would date someone who's into "that" lifestyle." I don't know if it's just me but the way she said that seems like she's judging me and Sages relationship. I'm not sure why she would be mad at me but whatever.

"Um Alynna chill." Sage says interrupting the conversation. With an eye roll I walk over to Sage and put way hands on her waist I love when my savior tries to protect me. "As soon as Mark and Jennifer get here we can all head out." Everyone says okay.

About 10 minutes later Mark and Jennifer knock at the door and we get ready to leave. We all take separate cars because there are too many of us. Me and Sage get into my car and we start driving towards the club. I pull into my parking space in the back and quickly get out so I can open the door for sage.

We walk into the club through the back then I guide Sage towards my office. Once Sage walks in I walk over to my desk while she just stands by the door awkwardly. I beckon her over to me then pull her into my lap.

     I start leaving kisses along the crook of her neck down her shoulder. "Salvatrice you have made my life so much better. I care about you truly." I pause I'm scared about how she may react to what I say, "I love you Sage."

      She turns around so that she's facing me and I see the tears in her eyes she just lays her head on my shoulder. Then she whispers in my ear "I love you too Lucia." I smile at her then leave a kiss on her shoulder.

      "Come on Cara let's go have some fun." I say to her. She gets off my lap then we walk out of my office. We go over to the bar and see all of our friends. Once we get there we both get a shot of vodka. That's all I'm gonna have since im driving home.

Sage POV:

       After I drink my shot I go over to Alynna and Imani and tell them how good they look. I'm lowkey mad at Alynna for coming after me and Lucias relationship but I'll be chill for now. I'm talking to Imani about what just happened with me and Lucia when my favorite shaking ass song comes on.

      I pull Lucia on to the dance floor and start grinding my ass on her. She puts her hands on my hips and moves her body with mine so we're in sync. Once the song ends Lucia pulls me close to her keeping one hand on my waist while she places the other gently onto my neck.
