Jack's P.O.V.

Later near four, I went downstairs. My mom was in the living room on the phone. I crept back upstairs to my room and opened the window. Right next to it was a bare tree which I climbed down. I landed in my backyard. I ran to the side of the house and jumped over the fence. Then I causally strolled over to Bunny's house.

A few minutes later, I walked into Bunny's house. Being best friends, I didn't need to knock.

"Bunny!" I yelled, wandering through the house.

"Kitchen!" I heard Tia yell. I walked to where Tia yelled. There was the Guardians.

We all planned the party, and played around a lot, especially Bunny and I, much to Tia's arguments about us not helping. Once everything was set, we lounged around till people started showing up.

The party has been going on for about an hour and there was no sign of Punzie. I was talking to a group of guys, with Tia clinging to my arm, when I noticed Punzie step through the already opened door. She had a white hoodie on with the sleeves pulled up. There was a picture on the front of it, but I couldn't see what it was from across the room. And she had a blue skirt on. Her long blonde hair was in a side braid.

"I uh gotta go." I said, slipping my arm out of Tia's grip. The group gave me a funny stare, but I just kept walking towards Rapunzel.

I approached her and she smiled.

"Hey."

"Hey."

"So you made it." Of course she did Jack. What's wrong with you?

"Yep." Then, I heard Tia calling out my name. I turned to see her looking around the crowd for me, her shiny blue dress hard to miss.

"What is it?" Punzie asked trying to see over my shoulder.

"Uh nothing! Do you want me to show you around?" I panicked.

"Sure." She said slowly.

"Great! Let's start upstairs!" I yanked her arm up the stairs. I pulled her up, making sure Tia and no one I knew saw me.

I lead her to my room, and shut the door peeking out to see no one.

"What's the matter Jack?" Rapunzel said, I could hear the accusations in her voice. I turned to see her arms crossed.

"Matter? Nothings the matter." Seriously Jack? Why are you loosing your cool around her? She's just your tutor!

Yeah, your tutor you invited to a party.

What's wrong with me?

Rapunzel's voice brought me out of my thoughts.

"Don't mess with me. Why don't you want anyone to see me with you?"

"I don't know what you're taking about." I lied. My friends consider people like Rapunzel, people who do good in school and aren't high on the social radar, to be nerds or losers. To me, Rapunzel is... Different.

But they wouldn't understand.

Especially Tia. She would kill Rapunzel.

And my family.

And then me.

"Really Jack? What? You just couldn't let your reputation as the most popular guy in school get damaged so you avoid being seen with the geek? Is that it?" She said angrily.

"I never called you a geek."

"Well you friends did! And you just watched and laughed along. My friends actually stand up for me and other nice people! You probably don't even remember me before we bumped into each other!"

"I'm sorry." I said. I could feel the tension in the air. I knew it was my fault. I didn't remember her before then. I realized what a terrible bully I am. Maybe I can make it up to her.

"I don't believe you are really sorry."

"What if I tell you something I've never told anyone?"
