~George's P.O.V~

As much as I tried, whatever happened with my alpha, mixed with my heat, was not a good mix.

"Clay! Snap out of it, please!" I begged. I don't know if I was begging against it or begging for it. My body was a mess, my nest was a mess, my thoughts were a mess, and my alpha was a mess.

The alpha growled, holding me hostage in his tight grip.

"Please, don't do this! Hold it back! I know you can!" He didn't seem to be listening. What was I to do?

"Dream, you... You promised!" I stuttered. It was like my words were going in one ear and out the other, not being processed.

He was so caught up in whatever was happening that I couldn't get through to him. It wasn't until I heard Sapnap's voice that made him snap out of it.

"Dream, you don't want to do this, okay? I know why you're like this, but please don't do this..."

The alpha let out a deathly growl.

Was he going to kill Sapnap?

"Dream! Don't, please!" I begged, ignoring the stabbing pain my heat was causing me.

"Dream... Listen, okay? can we make a compromise here? Because I know you don't want to mate George, alright?"

He was slightly listening, but I could tell he wanted to bite off the other's throat.

"Dream!" A voice I knew spoke...

Delilah?

He glanced back and forth at the two, sniffing the air. I knew that smell...

Delilah was in heat...

Her scent was so much sweeter than mine, like roses in a flower field.

"Dream... I'm going to take George and leave. You know me, I won't harm or do anything to him.." Dream stared down Sapnap, but he knew he was right.

"Go!" He snapped. "Leave!"

Sapnap grabbed me by the scruff, sprinting out of the house. I was still in heat and Sapnap was still an alpha, I was scared.

He plopped me in the back, closing the door.

I was a groaning mess, the pain unbearable. Sapnap was handling my heat scent like a champ, and I was thankful.

When we arrived he gripped me in his jaw while I wiggled to try to get some relief. He placed me in what looked like a guest room.

I smelt a familiar scent... Dream? Was Dream here? I rushed over to a suitcase that Sapnap had brought in. It smelt heavily of Dream. I took in the scents in distress.

I missed my alpha.

"I'm going to have to leave now, okay? Stay strong, it's not safe for me to be around you right now." I looked at him, sadly but understandingly.

"I'm sorry, there is nothing more I can do, but we had to separate you from Dream. He wasn't fighting his instinct anymore." I looked at the floor, letting my tears fall.
