Chapter 2: Rotten to the Core

Mal started off our usual antics after finishing up her 'Long Live Evil' graffiti.

"They say I'm trouble,
They say I'm bad,
They say I'm evil,
And that makes me glad."

Jay continued our little song, jumping down from a ladder that led to the roof of one of the market buildings.

"A dirty no good,
Down to the bone,
Your worst nightmare,
Can't take me home."

Then it was my turn, singing as I strode down the street, kicking over boxes and ruining market stands as I went.

"I know I'm wicked,
I know I'm cruel,
But it's too fun,
Just watch me rule."

Evie went next, strutting down the table like some kind of runway, forcing people to move their plates of food.

"So I got some mischief,
In my blood,
Can you blame me?
I never got no love."

Then finally, Carlos went, stepping out of the window that led to his room.

"They think I'm callous,
A lowlife hood,
I feel so useless-"

"Misunderstood!"

I met up with Evie and Mal in the alleyway, as we walked to meet up with the boys, the three of us singing in unison.

"Mirror, mirror on the wall,
Who's the baddest of them all?
Welcome to my wicked world-
Wicked World."

The five of us finally met up in the next alleyway over, creating havoc as we went. We threw clothes in people's faces and water over others' heads, even banging on the metal pots and pans as we went.

"I'm rotten to the core,
Rotten to the core,
I'm rotten to the core,
Who could ask for more?
I'm nothing like the kid next,
Like the kid next door,
I'm rotten to the-
I'm rotten to the-
I'm rotten to the core!"

We all ran down the tunnel, banging on the metal pipes as we went before splitting up to do even more damage. Mal continued our singing first and grabbed a can of spray paint, painting a huge 'M' on someone's shower curtain.

"Call me a schemer,
Call me a freak,
How can you say that?
I'm just unique."

Jay went next as he ran into a market stall to steal someone's kettle and a few other things as well.

"What, me a traitor?
Ain't got your back,
Are we not friends?
What's up with that?"

I went next, dashing into a nearby book shop, throwing books off shelves, and shoving people out of my way.

"So I'm smart,
A bit of cunning,
Just don't cross me,
Or you'll be running."

Evie went next, as she tore through a nearby scarf store, playing with all the different fabrics.
