Her eyes opened and she was in the hospital again.
"Good morning sweetie, your transplant was a success." her mom told her.
She soon realized.
Pierce, the boy that she met at the oak tree, wasn't real.
He was just a fantasy that she made up during her transplant.
"Yeah. May I ask, who was the donor?" she asked her parents.
"Oh, it was a sweet young man named Pierce. Why?"
