YOU DON'T KNOW how long it's been, and you don't want to. You just want it to be over.

Your father taunts you as he twirls a blade around in his hand, and you've succumbed to hanging your head low and keeping your eyes trained on the floor. Anything to escape the situation you're in, even if it's escaping through your mind, that's enough.

"How about I make you a deal?" He begins, "If you tell me where I can find your team, I'll spare your life."

"Why would you need my help with that? You tracked me down pretty easily." You mutter.

"It seems they figured it out, all of it. None of their phones are traceable, and the last I heard, they knew where you are. But then the signal cut out, they caught on. Your team is smarter than I thought."

"They tend to surprise everyone," you add, proud of your team before your attention returns to the room, "What makes you think I would snitch on the only family I've ever had, and ever wanted?"

"That hurts, my sweet Y/n/n..." he cocks his head, hand over his heart, "But do you forget your mother?"

You freeze, not that you could move much anyway. You hadn't known, or remembered, her enough to make her your family. Your father had raised you ever since age 6, when she had supposedly left you and abandoned the family, but of course, the truth was much, much darker than that.

"Now tell me where I can find your team."

You don't utter a word, your silence creating an atmosphere that could be cut with a knife.

"Suit yourself..." he says with an almost sing-song tone.

He throws continuous punches, landing on your jaw, abdomen, nose and cheek. You grunt upon every impact before the punches stop and he steps away from where your body is barely raised from the ground.

He picks up the blade he had taunted you with and drags it across your stomach, too light to make an indent, but taunting nonetheless.

"I thought you would've given up by now..."

You spit out a clump of blood from your mouth, "You have low expectations."

He jerks forward so his face is close to yours, "No, you are exactly as I suspected," he pauses and your heart catches in your throat as he turns the knife on its side, preparing to use it, "You are your fathers daughter after all."

You screech as the blade scratches into your skin, it feels like he's writing something, letters. You can't feel exactly what the words say, your mind is too busy focusing on the throbbing pain.

Finally, he pulls the blade away and throws it aside, stepping away and towards the door.

"I am nothing like you." You say bitterly, your voice is quiet and strained but the venom in your words is still there.

"That's where you're wrong...You're everything like me."

And with that, he closes the door leaving you alone in the dark room.

There is no furniture, no windows and no lights as far as you can tell, but your eyes can barely stay open to make that assessment.

You don't know what he's written into the skin of your stomach with the sharp blade, and it's the least of your concerns. The blood is dripping down from your skin into a puddle of red at your feet, but your eyes can barely adjust enough to see it. The pain you feel everywhere in your body is starting to take full effect now that the adrenaline is slowly fading, but you wish it would stay. It would help you get though this, but there's a nagging thought that tells you that you may not see the sunlight ever again.

You may not see the sun slowly setting as darkness arises, the moon casting a silvery glow upon the world.

You may not see Hotch again, never see his occasional smile or how good of a parent he is to Jack. His protectiveness and his stern personality.

You may not see Rossi again, never get to taste his delicious recipes one more time, or use his house as a restaurant at 3am when you have no where else to go. His door is always open for you, ready to cook pasta in the early hours of the morning just to keep you occupied and well fed.

You may not see Morgan again, hear his sarcastic jokes or see him have flirty banter with Garcia. You may not see him kick down another door straight off its hinges or feel another one of his tight hugs whenever you are feeling down.

JJ and Emily, your two sisters in the field. Having no siblings didn't ever matter when you had arrived at the BAU, because the two girls had fit into those roles nicely. And now you may never feel another one of their hugs or reassuring touches, not even a kind smile.

Garcia. Pen Pen. Penny. You may never hear her constantly bubbly voice, or how excited she gets when she helps solve a case. You may never feel her tight hugs again, or never enter her brightly decorated home for another movie marathon turned sleepover. You may never hear her call you 'Hotness' again, a nickname she had given to you just a few days into working at the BAU.

And Spencer. The first person who had welcomed you when you had first arrived at the BAU, his hair had been slicked back and he had worn the same satchel he still wore now. Out of everyone, he had the most to miss; his genius rambling, fun facts, his fluffy hair, the way he has always and would always be there for you. Even the way you had felt something...A feeling you couldn't explain that he made you feel. But all of it will soon be a memory that you will never be able to revisit.

Although they had all kept the secret from you about delving into your past, that seems like nothing now. It doesn't mean anything at all now you are sure you'll never get to see one of their faces ever again, and your last conversation with them all (besides Garcia) had been a bitter argument.
