The day started off usual; school, get homework done, eat, go on the Internet, sleep.

I always loved coming home because I knew Cameron, my best friend, would always come over. We have been best friends for so long that I caught feelings for him during the fourth grade. Cameron and I were currently in our senior year in high school. It was great, especially because we both have most classes together.

I loved having Cam around, not only because I like him, but because he's really fun and can keep conversations going without making things awkward.

Right now, I was in my room watching TV while I was on my phone with a bottle of pink lemonade. It was 2:15 in the afternoon on a Friday, and I was so happy. Cam would come knocking on my window or door, whichever one he thinks would make a "better entrance." Just the thought of this makes me chuckle and shake my head. He'll be here in about...10 minutes, I thought to myself. Ten minutes later, I heard little rocks form our front yard hitting my bedroom window. I got up and walk to my window and see Cam in our yard. He was waving as soon as he saw my appear in the window frame. I smiled at him and opened up my window.

"Hey, El! Open up the front door, please?" He puts his hands together and smiles like the angel he is, looking like he's begging. I chuckle and nod, "Alright."

I walk down the stairs and towards our front door. As I open it up, Cam is there with his arms wide open. We may have seen each other an hour go, but we still hugged like it has been ages since we've been together. I'm actually quite okay with it, because that means I get to have him in my arms.

One thing that I love about our friendship the most is the fact that we can act like we're lovers, but we aren't.

Anyway, I hugged Cam and the hug lasted for a while in silence. But then he broke it off and I sighed, catching the sent of cologne he was wearing. I smiled and let him in, "Any snacks?" He asks and I nod, pointing towards the kitchen as I say, "My mom left some food before she left earlier to her business trip," he nods and walks into the kitchen. I hear some shuffling and slamming of the wooden pantry door.

"Did you find what you want, Dallas?" I laughed as he came back, hands full of random chips, "Yeah, but I need you to go get some sodas from the fridge," he smiles. I nod and walk into the kitchen to get soda. There were only a few cans of 7-Up, so I grabbed two of them and headed upstairs to my room, knowing Cam would be in there. As I walk in, there he was, sitting on the floor in front of my TV. He looks at me as he sees me enter the room and chuckles, "I see that your room is still pink like how it was before?" I laugh and glare at him playfully, "Hey, at least I'm not too girly," I smirk.

"And that is one of the many reasons to why I love you," he says, smiling. Those last four words gave me chills. I smile back and walk towards him, plopping down next to him, kissing his cheek. This was normal to the both of us, since we've been so close since we were in diapers. He smiles at me and pokes my cheek.

"You ready to have a great Friday, Ms. Ella Jane?" He smirks and laughs. I laugh, shaking my head yes, even though I was kind of scared of what to expect, because Cam can go quite crazy, and I end up getting in trouble at times. We stood up and he took my hand, leading me to my window. We sat on the little seats that I have by my window and start talking about how our days were and random stuff.

This is how we always started off Friday's...

**Time To Go To Bed!**

Once it was time to sleep, we both got ready and laid down on my bed. Cam wanted a little bit of small talk before sleeping so we talked a little and then he fell asleep mid conversation. I sat up on my elbows and looked at his face in the dark, with the moon peaking through my window curtains, smiling.

I knew I liked him, but I wish I could know if he liked me back. I'm eighty percent positive he likes me back. Not so sure, but I also know he possibly does. I looked at my window and saw the moon shining brightly out in the sky and on Cam's face. After a while of looking outside, I looked at Cam again and kissed his cheek softly and fell asleep quietly next to him.

He was an angel that I loved, but he couldn't see it...
