I got up out of bed this morning with a bad headache and I thought it would just go away, but boy I was wrong.
Today, I got sent home because this headache was killing me. I could not even have a proper conversation with anyone. When one of my friends from school suggested I go see the nurse, I agreed.
So here I am, laying in bed, trying to fall back asleep. It was currently three in the afternoon and the whole house was quiet.
After a couple minutes, I finally fell into a nice, peaceful sleep...

I was woken up by the sound of someone knocking on my bedroom door.
"Who is it?" I groaned, sitting up slightly and leaning on my left elbow for support while my right hand was on my head.
"It's- uhm, it's Cat.." My sister says, clearing her throat mid sentence. I sat up a little more before saying, "Sure.. Come in."
She enters my room slowly, hesitantly, and nervously as I smile at her a little.
"What's up?" I asked, still pretty tired. She looks at me with a frown and I tilt my head, "El, I just wanted to apologize for my behavior a few days ago.. Jasmine told me that you were just looking out for me and I'm thankful for that. It's just, sometimes, I worry about my happiness getting ruined and I get upset when people think I don't know what I want or what they want me to do," she says and I nod, pursing my lips. "Cat, I wasn't trying to ruin your happiness. I was looking out for you, and you know that yourself. I don't want you hurt over some boy..." I pause, trailing off a little.
"....Because it happened to me. With Cameron," I add looking at her and she frowns.
I sigh to stop myself from crying and nodding.
"But anyways, Cat. Just- just remember I'll always be here for you, no matter what happens, alright?" I say, smiling and she nods, getting up to hug me.
"I'm sorry again, El," she apologizes and I chuckle, "It's fine, Cat. I understand how you feel," I reply and smile at her. She nods.
We talk for a while before she suggests we eat candy and watch tv downstairs so I agreed.
Tonight will be good...
