AT RISK OF SOUNDING DRAMATIC (which is something the youngest Potts woman has always been good at, mind you) Rosie thinks that feelings are stupid and crushes should be outlawed. Like, imagine how much easier everything would be if that were the case. Oh, you have a crush? Jail! That'd sure scare the shit out of everyone who's been unfortunate enough to like someone and maybe they'd never experience such intolerable pain again. Rosie thinks she should run for president one day and make that her number one campaign promise — "I'll cleanse you of your crushes!", her slogan would be. She likes to think she'd get elected. If Donald Trump can, why can't she?
And, OK, the thing that bugs her most is the timing of it all. Because she and her friends are crowded around the couches in the living room in front of the TV and they're watching Brooklyn Nine-Nine (well, half watching and half arguing over who each person thinks the best character is, which shouldn't even be up for debate because everyone knows it's Rosa) with Thor and Loki. And only minutes ago, they had been having a very in depth conversation about which character everyone is — everyone collectively agreed in a matter of seconds that Thor is a Terry and Loki is such a Gina — and it should have been Rosie's number one priority, because she's watching one of her favorite shows with literal gods, and it's fun. But, no. Because of stupid feelings and the even stupider fact that she has a crush, she's instead spending an awful lot of time thinking about how much more fun this would be if Peter was able to be here.
