Avi was beyond excited. He was getting ready for the date night and he just couldn't wait. Finally getting some alone time with Scott made him incredibly happy, too happy. It felt as if his other half has returned. He was just hoping it wouldn't get ruined again.

Meanwhile, Scott was a nervous mess. Was he looking good enough or was he too causal? Truth be told, he didn't even know how the restaurant looks because Mitch did most of the planning. He didn't let either of them see each other until the moment they had to head to the restaurant for the date, almost as if they were getting married.

Scott was wearing a dark blue suit with a black tie with a black shirt underneath while Avi was wearing trousers and just the jacket of a black, soft suit and a white shirt over it, without a beanie this time. He's taking a break from the usual, it seems.

Mitch hasn't even told them the plan yet, he just told them the name of the place and that he made a reservation on Hoying. Currently, Avi was done getting dressed and waiting for Scott, who was stuck in the bathroom with Mitch, nearly having an anxiety attack."What if I mess this up again?"

Mitch let out a slightly annoyed huff. "Scott, listen to me. Outside, Avi is waiting, ready to go on a date with you, probably looking like a real snack-" Scott lightly hit at his shoulder, signaling him to stop talking as he shot him a death glare that clearly said 'I'm so done with you.'

"Okay, maybe not like a snack- but he's handsome and he's waiting for you. And you're his boyfriend and also handsome..." Mitch went on, ranting about as Scott continued to have a crisis.

"You really aren't helping me right now." The blond shook his head.

With a sigh, the tenor tried to calm him down. "Look, you have no reason to be nervous about. I booked you two a table at a nice restaurant, somewhere in the corner where you two can do couple stuff. You'll go eat, just...hang out, spend time with each other and enjoy yourselves. That's it. You don't have to worry about Daniel anymore, nothing will ruin your night. Okay? Okay." He finished his little speach as he noticed Scott calm down, just a bit. Mitch wasn't really sure how to comfort someone but he tries and Scott greatly appreciates it. It's a, sometimes, clumsy and awkward, somewhat comforting remarks that make his day.

"Okay...Okay. I got this. We're gonna have a nice time, nothing's gonna happen. I'm okay." He breathed out finally, after a minute of pure silence once again. Actually, he was feeling a bit more confident and calm after all this. He didn't want to come to Avi, looking like a mess just before their date. He would also feel bad and he would think he ruined Avi's mood, and he really doesn't want anything to ruin this for them, the first date they've had in, at least, 3 months.

The tenor smiles fondly at him as he patted at his arm. "Good. Now, go have a nice night." He spoke in a sweet tone. While Scott was taking a few more deep breaths, Mitch exited the small bathroom and waited for him to follow.

"What about you guys?" Mitch's head turned to look at the blond again.

His eyes softened at him. "Oh, thank you for worrying about us, but we can have fun without you two." Mitch said with a small sly smile, which made Scott dramaticaly roll his eyes, although he had grin on his face. "But yes, we will have a little, fun movie night so you two don't have to worry about us."

"Okay, okay, whatever you saw, Queen." Scott sang, making Mitch laugh. They finally exited the bus and saw Avi sitting in a chair, looking up at the sky absently. Scott smiled at him as he leaned down and patted at his knee, making the brunette snap out of his thoughts. As soon as their eyes met, Avi smiled and almost jumped out of his chair. He waited until Scott was a few steps away before he jumped at him and wrapped his arms around his torso in a hug. The blond, slightly stunned by the amount of energy Avi seemingly had, took a moment to catch the brunette before twirling them around, chuckling.

"Woah, what got you so hyper?" Scott questioned as he pulled away from the hug, although his hand was still tangled in Avi's hair as he soothingly dragged his fingers against his temple.

"What do you think?" He asked in a somawhat sarcastic but playful manner. "I'm happy we're finally able to spend time together! It seems as if it's been a while, huh? Kinda started missing the little date nights we had before."

The blond winced slightly, remembering how he basically spent more time with his ex than his current boyfriend. He still felt bad and this was a way to, hopefully, show himself that they're fine now and to make Avi happy.

"Yeah...my bad." He awkwardly rubbed at the back of his neck after he took his hand away from the brunette's hair. "I still feel guilty because of it. I don't know, I just can't shake the feeling off."

With a soft look on his face, Avi brought his hand up to Scott's face, gently cupping his cheek.
"Scott, you're fine. We went over this, several times now, all is forgiven. I can get why you worry and why you feel this way, it should go away with time." Gently rubbing at the Scott's cheek, he brushed his fingertips against the blond's hand. "Now, let's go. We do have a reservation."Mitch, who was watching their little intarraction, urged them.

"Exactly. You don't wanna be late, I promised you'll be there on time or you can forget about getting a table. Now, shoo, move it!" He grinned and gestured towards them.

They shared a laugh before Kirstin and Kevin came out of the bus and said the goodbye's as the couple started walking down a street. The restaurant was around 15 minutes away, it wasn't cold so it was a nice, relaxed walk. They ended up laughing the whole way because Scott remembered something both hilarious and dumb that Mitch said on Superfruit.

"Damn, this actually looks really nice." Scott murmured as he glanced at the name of the restaurant. It was something in Italian, so neither of them could understand it.

Avi simply nodded as he and Scott's entered through the glass door with a chuckle. „It basically oozes 'fancy'."

"How did Mitch even find this place?" The brunette only laughed harder at Scott's question.

The restaurant feels as if they have entered a dreamland, the happy chatter, the fragrances, the easy and natural colours. Everything seemed dull in the soft lighting, it all seemed quite romantic and somewhat lonely, but a good lonely. Like a private place they could be themselves and just enjoy each other. It was calm and mostly quiet, except the chatter of the people already eating their meals, in the middle of ordering them or waiting fro their food to come. As they were waiting in queue to find their table, a few waiters and waitresses passed and smiled at them. No wonder Mitch reserved a table for them here, the workers seemed nice and Scott was sure Mitch had some sort of connection with someone here, it was very busy place and it was hard to find an empty table. The floor had a nice burbon carpet with a golden yellow, diamond pattern. The walls were coloured in a pale mint colour, which made Scott instantly look over at Avi with a grin.

"What?" The brunette questioned. "Why are you smiling like that?"

As he gestured to the walls of the restaurant, Scott mused. "It's the same colour as your eyes!" He looked back at Avi to see him staring at him with a fond smile. He knew Avi really wasn't good with taking compliments, so he continued once he saw he didn't have anything to say. "And, might I add, it's a very beautiful shade of green."

"Gosh, don't get cheesy with me." Avi glanced up at him with a bashful look in his eyes, green eyes Scott loved so much. His cheeks and neck felt warm but he decided to ignore the sensation.

"Oh, I will, don't worry. The date hasn't even began yet and I already made you go all shy and blushy." The younger of the two lightly pushed at Avi's shoulder, who only shook his head as a quiet chuckle escaped his mouth.

With a confident smirk, he remarked. "Don't get your hopes up, Scooter, you have no idea how many people have attempted to flirt with me but failed, miserably."

"You," the blond poked at the other's arm lightly as he spoke. "Don't get all cocky with me, 'cause you also have no idea how many people have tried to ask me out and failed. Miserably." He lowered his voice at the last part to try and mock Avi's naturally deeper voice, but he only caused the other to almost burst out laughing in the middle of a fairly quiet restaurant. That would've been incredibly awkward and Scott was sure Avi would make him apologize for making him laugh so hard. Just the thought made him smile softly to himself.

They fell into a comfortable silence, just enjoying the warmth of each other. Although they weren't touching, it felt like heat was radiating from both of them. Scott glanced down at their hands. They were limply hanging by their sides, looking rather lonely. He noticed Avi was playing with the sleeve of his suit, probably because he was kind of bored just standing there.
Scott was well aware he was very unsure of how they would show their affection to one another in public. They usually did that in the pirvacy of a house, or anywhere they could be private at, or maybe at a friend's house and at the bus, but outside was a whole different story. Avi was just very afraid of judgement, mostly. It sparked a small bit of worry in Scott. He was a very physically affectionate person, all about hugs and hand holding. In no way did he want to rush or force Avi into public affection, but he did miss it.

While Scott was stuck in his train of thought, the older of the two caught him staring down, blue eyes fixated on their hands. He was also aware of the fact Scott missed the affection, but he was just too nervous of how people would react, if they'd look and stare at them. It quite literally terrified him. He knows their fans accepted them with open arms, but he didn't know how strangers would react. People's stares always made him feel somewhat uncomfortable. Small and helpless and it made his stomach turn in discomfort.

Avi was now also staring at their lonely hands, that were always intertwined together when they were alone, but were now inches away from each other. Pursing his lips and swallowing a lump in his throat that felt as if it was stuck there, he felt a sudden rush of confidence washing over him, Avi slowly took Scott's hand into his own before looking back up at the queue, occasionally glancing at the sea foam walls of the spacious room. He noticed there were only two people in front of them now. He could've sworn there were at least six people in front of them a second ago.

As Scott felt a warm hand grab his own, he somewhat froze. Looking down again, he saw his and Avi's hands together now, not apart, but intertwined together. It made a small smile crawl onto his face as he looked back up at the brunette, whose eyes seemed to be glued to the mint walls. The blond wanted to freeze time and get stuck in this moment. It felt so comfortable, being here, hand in hand. He wanted to remember this moment, lock it into his heart and always have it on his mind. It felt too perfect to be true.

Avi, now looking back at Scott, lifted their hands up and kissed the back of Scott's, making the tall blond laugh quietly. He has always appreciated these little gestures Avi did, whether it was a soft touch or a light kiss, he would always treasure it.

Though, he did feel bad. He felt as if Avi was doing it just so Scott can be happy. "Don't take this the wrong way, I love this but...why did you make yourself do that, even though this gives you anxiety?" He questioned as he watched the brunette roll his eyes with a soft smile.

"Can you not overthink this one thing I do? I'm fine, Scotty. Thanks for asking and worrying, but I actually feel pretty okay like this. I...could get used to this. You can also do it when you feel like it and I can tell you if I feel comfortable with it, deal?" He spoke with the same soft smile and Scott just realised he fell even more in love with him.

"Deal." Scott felt as if he was about to cry, and he had no idea why. He just wanted to thank Avi for being...Avi, the caring and understanding person he was.

Scott pulled Avi into a hug, a tight hug, as he wrapped his arms around his lower back and rested his chin on his shoulder. At first, he didn't feel the other hug back, probably because he was processing what happened, but after a moment, he felt Avi hug his torso. It was such a simple gesture but it made Scott's legs feel like jelly.

"How are you so precious?" The blond asked as they pulled away. Avi laughed at this as he ruffled his own hair.

"No, seriously, how? Tell me your secrets!" Dramatically pointing at the brunette, Scott had to stop himself from yelling out the joke so he resolved to whisper-yelling, causing Avi to laugh again.

Shrugging, Avi answered with a confused tone. "I'm just...like that in general, I guess. I'm pretty sure you know that the Pentaholics call me that and what not, which I was really surprised at first, but now I kind of...embraced it." He laughed. Avi was an actual softie at heart and now, besides just his family and friends, their fans know it too. The whole band was like a Dream Team, filling in the ocassional gaps one may have.

"Well then, I'll be the first to say it...again. You are precious and I am so glad you're my boyfriend, Avi, I really, really am." Scott watched as a goofy grin spread across the brunette's face. Avi took his hand into his own again.

"And I'm thankful for even meeting you, Scotty." He finished just in time when the person in front of them left the queue after talking to the worker at the desk who pointed over at their table.

"Good evening, gentlemen. You two have a reservation?" The lady asked them in a high voice that rang in the room. She seemed like an obnoxious, but nice person. Her face framed long brown hair that surely reached her elbows, at which her uniform sleeves were rolled up neatly. "Yes, on Hoying."

The lady smiled at them, leaning forward to them a little. "Ah, okay. Mitch called me and told me to save a table for two in a corner." She pointed at the corner behind them, all the way in the back, perfect for a romantic dinner. "You two will have your privacy, don't worry. We'll send someone to take your orders soon, don't worry about waiting long." She gave them a confident wink before leaning back again, a toothy grin on her round face.

The couple thanked her politely and headed towards their table. Scott couldn't help but laugh. "I knew Mitch had connections with someone."
"I feel like he knows someone in every store."

"Wouldn't be surprised in the slightest."

//It took a few days to get the inspiration back, but it's here again! I decided to split the date night into two parts, just so I can post this quicker. I'll update when I can, hope y'all enjoyed! :)//
