Harper Payne
We arrived at the airport (a/n, I have no idea how airports work so please don't tell me I'm wrong because I know) and parked in the parking lot outside. Liam grabbed his backpack from the floor of the car and slung it on his shoulder as I grabbed his suitcases from the car as Liam dialled some body guard - Paul?
I listened in on the conversation. "I'm in the parking lot with my sister and parents." He stated. The reply was muffled but I heard it. "Ok, do you want me to send one of the lads down or should I get one of the bodyguards to come help you?" The voice asked. "Can you come?" Liam asked.
"Liam... Ugh, fine! I'm running to ya though! Be prepared for Paul incoming!" The voice exclaimed making my giggle to myself. Liam shot me a glance with a smirk as he hung the phone up. "Classic Paul." He said. "What accent was that by the way?" I asked. "Irish." He stated. "Isn't one of the lads Irish?" I asked. He nodded and chuckled. "Wow, you know so much about us." He chuckled. "You talk about them all the time, how could I not?" I asked. "I was being sarcastic."
Suddenly, we heard Liam's name being called and we all spun around to see a tall fellow with dark hair running towards us. "Paul, slow down!" Liam exclaimed, laughing. "Seems like you like Paul, huh?" Mum asked Liam. He nodded. "The second best daddy direction." He replied, whatever that meant. I just shrugged it off as we watched the tall figure make it's way to us. "Liam lad! It's been ages!" He exclaimed, pulling Liam in to a quick but tight hug.
"Paul, it's been two months. (a/n again, sorry. I have no idea how long these breaks were or even, if they got them, proceed.) I haven't been in to work for two months for preparation for the tour." Liam replied cheekily. "Still missed ya fellow. Let's get going then, yeah?" He asked, turning to me. "This must be the famous Harper." Paul grinned as Liam shone a bright red, hissing for him to shut up. "He talks about you all the time. Anyway, enough of embarrassing Liam, for now." Paul warned as my parents chuckled, me as well.
Liam Payne
Paul took one of my suitcases and tried to take one from Harper but she refused. I pulled the other one behind me. We trudged through the sea of people and found our gate. I saw the lads but decided to greet them on the plane because I knew I had limited time left with my family. I turned to the three people that I loved most. "I'm so sorry that I'm going for so long but I pinkie promise that I will skype three times a week and phone nearly everyday." I promised, chuckling.
Mum nodded and out her hand over her mouth as Dad hugged me. "I'm so proud of you son. I love you and will miss having you just... around. Take care of yourself and those goofballs lad." Dad whispered to me while pointing to a group of people. In the middle were my beloved bandmates.
Harry was peeling a banana, Niall was doing a very over-the-top dance to the music that was playing over the speakers, Louis was laughing at him and occasionally joining in and Zayn was practically falling asleep on Harry's shoulder. Stood up. I laughed at them all doing their stereotypical moves and I smiled warmly knowing that even though I didn't show it often, I would never ever get over these stupid boys in front of me.
Dad finally pulled away and Mum pulled me into her tight embrace. "I love you, Liam and I'm so proud of you. I wouldn't want you anywhere than where you want to be and I know that right now, it's with them boys, over there. So, once we've bid our goodbyes, you go to them and hug them and tell them you missed them. Look at how far my little Liam has come." Mum said as she pulled away, keeping her hands rested on my shoulders as she looked into my eyes. She kissed me on my cheek and finally stood to the side to let Harper say her goodbyes which I knew wouldn't be easy for either of us.
