Harper Payne

'What is Louis from one direction's last name?' I typed into google after the skype call with Liam was over and I had Louis' phone number. The google reply said 'Louis Tomlinson' and I just hoped it wasn't wrong.

To, Louis: Hello, Louis Tomlinson.

I sent the message and giggled knowing he would be worried. After about five minutes of sitting in suspense my phone pinged. It was from Louis.

Who is this?

The message read. I began to laugh like a maniac thinking about the different ways I could play this.

You know me. You saw me yesterday.

I replied, hoping it wasn't too much information. Apparently, he had stayed online as I saw the typing bubble at the bottom of my screen. And just like that, it went away without a reply.

Louis Tomlinson

"Oi, lad." Liam shouted. "Hm, what?" I asked as I bit my lip. "Something up?" He asked as he sat on the sofa next to me. "Actually, yes." I admitted. "Pile it on me, lad." Liam encouraged. I shook my head as I leant back. "I've been getting these weird messages." I said finally. "What do you mean by weird?" He asked.

"Like... Well, they aren't weird as such. I got the first one that said 'Hello, Louis Tomlinson.'" I explained and heard Liam sigh. I decided to ignore it and carry on. "I asked who it was and they said 'you know me, you saw me yesterday.'" Liam leant forward, resting his elbows on his knees and his head in his hands. "What's wrong?" I asked.

"Mate, that's Harper. I gave her your number because she asked for it." Liam explained. I frowned and knit my eyebrows for a second until a smirk played on my lips. "She did not." I warned. "Oh, she did." He smirked then ruffled my hair and jumped up, running back off to his room. I changed the unknown number to 'Harp' and then thought of a response.

Oh, youuuu

I sent it and saw that she had read my message and decided to wait online for her response.

Harper Payne

Oh, youuuu

The message from Louis read. My eyes widened and my shoulders slumped because I knew I had been caught. I decided to keep my act up.

What do you mean, Louis Tomlinson?

I must admit I did sound like a robot and I was most definitely not convincing but, who cares? I was messing with the Louis Tomlinson.

Oh, give over Harper.

He replied immediately. I sighed and pressed the call button. "How did you know?" I asked. "Your brother told me." I  could practically hear him smirk through the phone. "I'm going to kill that boy when I see him." I replied. It seemed that me and Louis had clicked immediately. "I thought some murderer or kidnapper or some shit found my number." He chuckled into the phone as he said that.

"Well, nobody said that I wasn't, and I quote, 'some murderer or kidnapper or some shit'." I repeated his words which earnt me a loud laugh. "How old are you, love?" He asked out of the blue. "I'm seventeen. Eighteen next month." I replied, a very light shade of pink creeping onto my cheeks from the nickname even though I knew he was saying it to be friendly.

"OhmygodIjusthadtheperfectidea." He rushed out. "Woah there darlin', slow down. What did you say?" I replied, chuckling lightly. "Sorry, I said, oh my god I just had the perfect idea." He repeated. "Lay it on me." I challenged. "You are a feisty one, aren't you?" He asked. "Absolutely, now continue." I answered.

"Ok so, the lads and I saw how hard it was for you and Liam to leave each other so how about for your birthday or like after your birthday, we fly you out?" He asked. I gasped at how kind he was being to me. "I couldn't accept that offer, I know how expensive flights are and like you will be busy, surely?" I declined politely. "Don't worry about that, love. It'd be our birthday present to you."

"No, no, Lou. I'm sorry. I don't want you spending money on some girl you've never met." I explained. "Harperrrrr pleaseeeeee." He begged. "Lou no-" I began. "Hear me out first!" He exclaimed. I sighed. "Fine." I gave in to my new friend who was surprisingly convincing. "Liam wouldn't know, we'd fly you out, get you backstage passes for the concert on that day, then you could stay at our hotel with us or something and- oh my god." He stopped.

"What? What's wrong Louis? Is everything ok?" I asked, worried. "You could stay with us for the rest of the tour after that. I mean, you said you were turning eighteen right? Therefore you'll be an adult. Your parents can't stop you from coming and Liam can't send you home. He wouldn't have an option because it'd be five to one." He whispered. I could tell he was whispering because if he didn't, he'd be shouting.

"Five to one?" I asked, frowning. "Yeah, I'd get the lads to agree. They all like you anyway." Louis explained. I sighed. "What's wrong, love? Do you not want to?" He asked. "No, I do, it's just..." I trailed off. "Just what? You can tell me." He assured. "It's a lot of money and I kind of promised Liam that I'd stay on top of my schoolwork." I explained finally.

"Don't worry about the money, love, we're millionaires. And you could do your schoolwork online. I mean, being on tour is fun but it's like... all at once." He explained. "What do you mean?" I frowned. "Like, we go to a hotel and then we're in the hotel all day until it's like a few hours before the concert. Then we go in the tour bus and drive to the location. Then there's the thrill of rushing around for the concert. Then the concert ends and we're back in the tour bus heading back to the hotel." He explained. "So the day goes from being really boring and such a drag to like the most excitement in your life."

"Oh." I muttered. "Love, I'm not going to force you if you don't want to I just thought that it'd be fun. Also, if it's just the fact that you don't want to stay on tour with us then you can just come and visit one of our concerts and then go back home." He said. "Yeah, ok." I replied. "So, you'll do it?" He asked, hopeful. I sighed dramatically. "Ugh, fine!" I answered finally. "Thanks, love. Liam's been a mess without you." He got all excited and I thought it was the cutest thing ever. "It's been a day." I replied. "Still."

"Who're you on the phone to?" I heard a voice ask. Not one that I recognised though, it had an accent to it. "Just a friend, Irish." Louis replied as I smiled to myself, happy that he thought of us as friends. "Okay, British." The voice replied. "Sorry about that." He spoke into the phone. "So, you see me as a friend?" I teased, trying but failing to hold my laughter in. "Unless you don't want me to." He answered, his voice seemed a bit wobbly and he gulped. "Did I make the Louis Tomlinson nervous?" I teased. He groaned as I giggled. "I'm glad you see me as a friend Lou, I should probably turn in. Call me to tomorrow?" I asked. "Of course." He answered warmly. I smiled and hung up.

I was making friends that weren't even currently in this country.
