(A/n; I know I said I was going to post this a while ago, sorry that I didn't -_-')

(Zander's p.o.v)
I walked into the lobby of the library and leaned against a wall. I closed my eyes and sighed.

Today was long, and I was tired and hungry. Drew agreed to not hackle Peterson when I need to take him with me to work and Mr. Jay is alright with him being here, he just can't distract me too much from my work.

I've been kind of worried about how things went with Xone and Peterson. From the letter they sent me yesterday concerning the topic, they said they lived with two other people. Ray and Lily I believe are their names. They also said they can be chaotic, which is concerning in itself. But not only that, Peterson's aggressive form, which has become more of a mindset, can be very arrogant. I really need to work with him to stop that from happening. Because he doesn't seem like a bad person when he isn't in an aggressive form. So, if we can work to somehow release his aggressive form, or get rid of it somehow, maybe get it under control, then I'm sure he'll have nothing to worry about in means of being a part of society.

I'm getting off-topic. I hope things went well with Xone.

My thoughts were interrupted by a door opening and two voices following it.

I opened my eyes and saw Xone and Peterson deep in a conversation.

Xone noticed me and tugged Peterson over.

"Hello again Wickham," they said.

"You seem in a much better mood," I pushed myself off the wall.

They shrugged and looked at Peterson.

"Did things go well?" I asked a hint of the concern filtering into my voice.

"Yes, they did, I hope to have him over again," they nudged him with their elbow.

Peterson chuckled.

I let out a breath of relief.

"That's good to hear," I half-smiled.

Peterson looked away and Xone raised an eyebrow at his action, then shook their head.

"Well, I better be going, see you tomorrow Wickham, and you too Luke," they waved and walked backward toward the door.

"Yeah, see you, Cel," Peterson gave a small wave back.

"Bye," I nodded.

They nodded their head, satisfied with our response, and left the library.

"Are you hungry?" I asked, looking up at the demon.

"Yeah, a little bit," he shrugged.

"Come on then, I know a diner we can eat at," I started towards the door.

"Alright," He followed.

We exited the library and began down the pathway to the diner.

It's good to know things went well. They even seem like they've become friends.

But he's being awfully quiet. It's concerning.

"What did you guys do?"

"Oh, nothing much, we watched a show on the t.v and chatted a bit," Peterson shrugged.

"What's a t.v?" I asked.

"It's a device that uses radio waves to broadcast films," he responded, "I think."

"Interesting, so they use electrically run tech rather than magically run tech?"

"Mhm."

"Is there something else on your mind? You're being very quiet."
