{Rachel's POV}
I slipped out of the tent, and walked over to the RV.
"Hey Dale!" I yelled up to him as he sat on the roof, overlooking the quarry with binoculars.
"What's wrong?!" He asked worriedly.
"Nothin' old man, I wanna talk to ya!" I yelled back. I climbed the ladder quickly, and walked over the roof to him.
"What did you want to tell me?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Oh.......... Just that I could rig the shower in the RV." I said simply.
"Wait.... WHAT!!!" He exclaimed like it was the best thing that had ever happened to him.
"Hot water and all." I said, smiling.
"I- I gotta go tell Rick I-"
"No, don't, I want this to be a surprise." I said quietly. He looked at me and nodded.
"I'll get to work today then." I settled it.
"You sure you can do it alone?" He asked.
"Yup." I finished, popping the P.
"Alright well..... guess you should start on that." He said, going back to his work. I got up and jumped off of the roof, landing swiftly on my feet.
I walked over to Daryl's tent and knocked on the fabric of the tent.
"Daryl..... you in there?" I called out quietly. When I didn't hear an answer I unzipped the flap and walked in. Daryl was not in the tent so I walked over to my bag that was filled to the brim with solar gadgets. I quickly took off my black skinny jeans and my titanium suit. I changed into some extremely short shorts, and a half shirt so that I could work with dying of heat stroke.

...

After I had everything set to start rigging the shower I walked over to the RV. Everyone was doing other things around the quarry. Shane and Carl were 'catching frogs.' Daryl and his brother were out hunting. Rick, T-Dog, Glenn, and Morales were out on a run. Lori, Carol, Andrea, and Jacqui were all washing the laundry, and everyone else was milling around the quarry. I walked into the RV and then into the small bathroom. I opened up the shower curtain and got to work.

...

{Daryl's POV}
I tromped around in the forest with my brother, who was surprisingly quiet.
"Who's tha' girl yer talkin' to?" He asked me abruptly.
"Her name's Rachel." I answered him gruffly.
"She gotta good body." He muttered, chuckling. I tried to ignore his last comment and kept walking. I stopped abruptly when I saw the deer that I had been tracking. My brother copied my actions and crouched down as I did. I brought up my crossbow and shot the deer, killing it instantly.
"That's dinner for a few days." I said mostly to myself. We walked over to the buck and Merle threw it over his shoulders.
"I think we're done here." He said to me as we carried the deer back to camp.

When we broke the tree line to camp the first thing I saw was Rachel, she was working on the RV. She had on a belly shirt that showed off her completely toned abs, her shorts showed off her toned legs that were tanned to a light brown. She had her hair pulled back into a messy bun on the top of her head and her large black glasses were set on her face. Let me state the obvious, she looked amazing. Merle went over to the campfire to skin the deer, as I walked over to her.
"Hey asshole." She called out as I got over to her. She looked up at me wiping her forehead with the back of her head. She had grease rubbed all over her face and her hands.
"What are ya doin?" I asked.
"Riggin' the shower." She answered as she got back to work.
"What do ya mean?" I asked my eyebrows raised.
"I'll tell ya if ya stop lookin' at my ass." She said as she tightened a screw. She stood up and tapped the top of my head with a wrench. "Fetch Dale for me, I need to tell im' somethin'." She said turning back to her work.
"I ain't yer homin' pigeon." I answered scoffing.
"Pwease?" She asked looking up at me with fake puppy dog eyes.
"Fine." I muttered, walking off to find Dale.

...

{Rachel's POV}
Once Daryl got back with Dale I thanked him and he stalked off.
"I'm done with the shower Dale, it should work once we load some water into it. Water from the quarry will work too!" I said to him happily.
"Great! I'll go get the water!" He exclaimed greatfully. He then walked down to the quarry to get some water.

...

Dale came back with the water, and everyone from the group trailed behind him.
"Rachel's got something she wants to tell you." Dale told them as he filled the water tank in the RV.
I cleared my throat, "I have been working on the RV for the day, and I am pleased to say...." I paused for effect. "We have a working shower!" I exclaimed. Everyone's mouthes dropped to the floor and just stared at me. My smile faltered slightly. "Ummm.... hot water and everything...." I muttered.
Did no one appreciate what I had just done? Were they mad at me for not telling them?
"Whatever.... have at it...." I mumbled, waving them off and walking away.

I walked over to Daryl's tent and grabbed my black compound bow, along with my quiver of arrows. I slumped out of the tent and trotted off to the forest.
Once I was deep enough in the trees I climbed a large oak tree and sat down on a good sized branch. I pulled out my phone and began to play my 'Sia' playlist, 'Elastic Heart' began to play, and I sighed.
This was where I was meant to be.
