CHAPTER 38           

It has been five days, and the ceremony for Elijah’s brother has been put off for about three days because of the rainy weather.

Me Jason and some other pack members were re-decorating the stage for it. I was currently blowing balloons and tying them to streamers and then handing them to Jason who was on a ladder, to put them on top off the stage.

“I’m tired.” I said, my mouth hurting from all the blowing.

“Me too, but alpha said that we have to finish out all of this,” he said pointing to the pack of unblown balloons, and the stage. “Before he comes back.” He finished.

I sighed. Elijah has been gone to some other place for two days now. I have no idea where he is, mostly because he didn’t tell me, but he calls me every day to make sure I’m fine and whatnot. But ever since he left, I have been feeling stranger. I find it hard to sleep, to walk, sometimes I don’t even feel to talk.

I should really see the doctor.

“J, I am going to take a shower and then I might go and see the doctor. I haven’t been feeling well.” I said rubbing my forehead. J was the nickname I gave him, I find that easier to say.

“Ok, but come back.” He said giving me a stern look as if to say ‘don’t run away’. I rolled my eyes and muttered a ‘yeah, yeah’ before turning on my heels and walking back to the pack house.

As soon as I stepped through the door I saw Jordan, grinning from ear to ear like he had just won the lottery.

“What’s up with you?” I asked, and he just grinned wider, if that was possible.

He didn’t say anything, he just walked up to me and hugged me very tightly, pressing my face to his chest. He smelt good.

“She’s pregnant.” He said.

Did I hear correctly? Did he just say…she’s pregnant?

“What?” I asked pulling away from him to look him in the eyes.

“Daniella is pregnant.” He said, his eyes shining from excitement.

I was shocked-no beyond shock. This is great news, I am so happy, Jordan’s going to be a daddy yay! I threw my hands over his shoulder and squeezed him tightly.

“That is so great! I am really happy for you both.” I said. I felt him smile and press a kiss to the top of my head.

“Me too, I can’t wait to be a dad, and be able to tell my kid what to do.” he said. My smile faded. Is he serious?

After arguing with Jordan for his wrong intentions of having a child, I walked up to my room to have a shower.

After brushing my teeth and stripping, stepped under the shower, after hearing Jordan tell  me how happy he was about having a kid, I couldn’t help but wonder; will Elijah want a child?
will he want a family?
if we had a child who will it look like?

I hope it looks like him. But what if Elijah doesn’t want a child, will I be okay with that? I mean, I have always liked kids, I grew up among them. but the question always come back to Elijah, will he ever want kids.

I decided to take that question out of my mind. I washed my skin and then came out of the bathroom.

After changing into some joggers and a tank top, I braided my hair to the side and walked to the other side of the pack house so that I can see the doctor.
