It was a little lonely without Luna by my side but thankfully I had a twin to keep me company, even if a little subpar. He and I played pranks on the others and even extended our boar pit under our hut, Astrid left Dewdrop with me for the day and we were making trouble! Who knew such a tiny dragon could be so infused with trickster abilities almost as mischievous as Loki himself!? Day two without Luna was so fun and she's coming back tomorrow so I'm sure she'll get a laugh out of these pranks when I tell her about them.

"Ugh, I can't believe we have to clean up the mud those boars tracked around, they should have to clean up their own mud!" Tuff complained beside me but I was still chuckling about letting the boars loose in the first place.
"Well they can't clean so you two have to, after you're done you can join us in the club house, we're still trying to figure out the secret language Luna's dad taught Oswald," Hiccup said.
I sighed, "The reason you can't understand it is because you're reading it the wrong way and words are missing on purpose, Luna told me about it," I said and kept cleaning, "why not just wait? She's coming back tomorrow."
"So I've been told," Hiccup walked over, "You know how to read it?"
"Uh, kinda? I know a little bit because she taught me, the hunters put in words at random and also write backwards and upside down, at least this group does. You gotta be trained to look past the extra words and fill in the missing ones otherwise it just doesn't make sense," I shrugged.
"Maybe you could read this one word that keeps appearing and Luna keeps skipping over," Hiccup pulled out Oswald's notes but I shook my head and stopped him.
"Nuh-uh! I promised Luna I wouldn't read anything without her here in case I read it wrong, this group of hunters use a lot of words that look like other words that can change the meaning drastically," I tossed my brush back in the bucket and stretched, "Just wait until tomorrow, she'll be back before you know it."

Hiccup eventually dropped it and after lunch everyone just decided to start talking about things they noticed about Luna again, I liked this, she does so many cute things that no one seems to notice.
"She gets this intense look when she's sharpening her sword or practicing fighting moves, I'm still surprised how fluid her movements are with those big wings," Astrid was messing with a dagger as she spoke.
Snotlout shrugged a little, "I mean, I guess I noticed that those wings kind of have a mind of their own sometimes? She reaches over her shoulder to calm them when they flutter," he said.
"I noticed how she tends to let her wings rest on the floor or the ground when she's sitting on an edge, though I guess it makes sense, they must get tired staying upright all day," Fishlegs commented.
My brother decided to add in, "Ooh! She has like this one smile when she gets a trickstery idea, like a prank or a gag, but when she gets that smile with the little lip bite, it's always a really good one!"
"Oh yeah, I've noticed that smile," Hiccup chuckled and leaned against the wall to take pressure off his fake leg, "but there's also this look she's got when she's deep in thought and even her wings move around when she thinks that hard about something. She walked right off cliffs sometimes and it always gives me a heart attack," he sighed, "thankfully she's got wings so she can do that without getting hurt."
I chuckled, remembering how cute she looks after that because she's embarrassed about walking off a cliff, "Okay, but have any of you ever noticed how her tongue sticks out a little while she's focused on something in her hands? And she has this little, I don't know what to call it, but it's kind of like a purr and kind of like a chirp when she's sleepy and you call her name. Ugh, it gets me every time!"
Astrid laughed a little, "I'll admit, Luna surprises me a lot, I've never seen someone like Ruff that much, I've never seen anyone who can understand and talk to dragons, never seen anyone with dragon wings, and I've never seen a couple that's two women. It's a new surprise almost every day with her around," she pet little Dewdrop who was just clinging to her vest. The tiny dragon just keeps going between her and me, she doesn't seem to like the guys as much.
"I have to agree, the other day she got me close enough to pet a Changewing...well, it was only a touch before the dragon was gone and there was only a puddle of acid at my feet," Hiccup chuckled.

We kept going around like that for a while and I slowly found myself missing my girlfriend more and more, I sighed to myself and laid back on the floor as Fishlegs was cooking dinner.
"You alright there, Ruff?" Hiccup asked, walking over.
"Yeah, just talking about her is making me miss her, I hope she gets back soon," I placed my helmet on my stomach.
"Hey, she promised that she'd come back as fast as she could, late tonight or tomorrow morning at the latest," Astrid assured me.
I sat up, "I know but still..." I looked up at Hiccup, "You always miss Astrid when she goes out for a resupply or something, surely you know my pain, Hiccup," I might've been a little dramatic at this part.
Hiccup looked sheepish as he chuckled then cleared his throat, "Y-Yeah, I guess I know what you mean..."
"Aww, Hiccup, you miss me when I'm gone?" Astrid was clearly teasing the poor guy but it just reminded me of how Luna teases me and it made me miss her even more as I flopped back with a groan.
"Why don't we talk about something other than sappy relationships? You guys are already making me feel sick," Snotlout fake gagged and crossed his arms. Hookfang stuck his head in and huffed smoke in his Rider's face, at least that made me chuckle.
"You're one to talk, you get all dramatic when you can't find your dragon," Tuffnut snickered and Snotlout got red in the face.
Like usual Snotlout started denying every word but this time I just went to sit outside and look at the half-moon that was out tonight, one side as bright as Luna's plasma and the other as dark as her wings. Why does everything have to remind me of her!?
