accidental hybrid 2: chapter 37

i waited a couple of more seconds and then finally followed the corridor to the end. i found tyson, passed out on the endless amount of rubble when he had smashed through the wall. jamie must have sent him flying really far then.

i knelt beside him. " tyson" i said quietly and began rocking him slightly. " tyson... wake up " i said, continuing to rock him. his eyes opened slowly, like fluttering butterfly's.  

" hey sleepy head, about time you woke up" i said.  tyson began to get up slowly, gasps of air running through his teeth as he felt pain run through him.   " be careful" i said as i helped him sit up and lean against what rest of the wall we had left. 

" are you ok ?" i asked him. he didn't answer straight away but he blinked a few times to get rid of the bit of dust in his eyes. " yh i'm fine i think" he said finally. " good" i said. " where jamie ?" he asked suddenly. " he's round there" i told him, pointing down the corridor. " well lets go and finsih him off he shoted. " no! its ok, he's already dead" i told him.

he calmed down a little and rested against the wall again. " what do you mean he's dead? already? how?" he asked. " i killed him tyson" i said " he's gone for good" i said. he seemed like he didn't believe it at first and that he needed more convincing. "come on then, i'll show you the body " i said and began to get up. 

" his body is just down here" i said and he gave in and followed me towards Jamie's body. he walked slow as pain ran threw his legs as he moved. "its just down here " i said. i kept to the same pace as tyson was walking and finally the shape of Jamie's body began to appear in front of me.

" there he is " i said stopping where i stood and pointed at Jamie's dead body. 

i heard tyson sigh. " well done and i am so glad your alive and alex is" said tyson and he took my face in his hand slowly and planted a soft kiss on my lips. i pulled away suddenly. " alex and Ashton !" i shouted and ran towards the large hall doors in front of me.

" alex, ashton ! " i shouted and i banged my fists on the door. " were ok ! and is jamie dead!" ashton shouted from the other side.  a wash of relief washed over me. " thank god your both ok" i said. " why wouldnt we be" replied ashton. " i dont know" i said.

i heard the door open from the other side and i was being pushed away slowly. ashton came out with alex bundled in his arms asleep. " here" said ashton and he began placing alex into my arms. then i realized tyson hadnt met him yet.

" alex i would like you to meet your dad" i said and began walking back over to tyson. " tyson this is alex" i said. tyson looked down at alex and all emotion went from his place.

after a while happiness crept on his face. he looked like he was about to cry.
