the ice kept covering his face, spreading all the way down his neck. " amiee help me " jamie pleaded. " why would i do this to you to just help you?" i said. " your doing this?" jamie said sounding shocked. " surprised" i said sarcastically. " well then stop it !" jamie shouted. " why should i ! you keep me locked up in here when i am pregnant !" i said.

jamie moaned in pain and fell to his knee's. "please!" jamie begged. i couldnt, not after what he had done to me. instead i carried on watching. " why jamie ?" i asked. " i dont know !" he screamed. " yes you do ! you wouldnt have done this to me otherwise" i said. he didnt reply. i needed to get out of here now, while jamie was down. i picked up one of the iron chains and held on to it why i thought of turning it into ice. one thing i knew about this power was that i controlled it with my mind but depending on what i wanted to turn to ice, i could use my hands.

as i thought, i felt my arm go cold as it ran down to my hand. soon the chain began freezing as i held on. within seconds, the chain was completley frosted over with ice. i put the chain in my hands and then ripped it apart, the iron links flying everywhere. yes ! it worked. i did the same with the other but rather than picking it up in the centre of the chain, i just grabbed the part where it hung under my wrist. the same happend. the ice ran all the way down to the other end. i pulled and it ripped apart. before leaving, i grabbed the key out of jamie's pocket and ran to the door. i was nervous so the key wouldnt go in right the first time. or the second time. but third time lucky, the key slot in the lock and turning it, it clicked unlocked.

as soon as i had the door open, i ran out. but even as i jogged a little, i heard the ice encasing jamie began to crack as it heated and melted from his face. i couldnt rin to fast because the baby was heavy so i would get worn out qucikly. but i had to hurry because i was getting hungry. i had finally made it to the tunnel that took me to the lift that got me out of here. but the tunnel was dark and using my night vision would cost me. so i tried to go down blindly. i made sure i kept as close to the wall as i could and began to walk as fast as i could. i had made it halfway through when i had a feeling i wasnt alone anymore. whoever it was, was standing infront of me. " hello ? anyone there?" i said aloud. no answer.

" oh sure, let me help you" said jamie. then he suddenly came out of the shadows at me , making me scream. i felt him push me to the wall and his hand pressed tightly over my mouth. i carried on screaming. " shut up !" he shouted. i did. " nice try but it looks like that baby of yours has slowed you down and you didnt cool me off enough" jamie joked. i began to cry frantically. " your not going any where" he said. " plewease lewt mwe gow" i mumbled under his hand. he must have understood me. " i was so close to letting you go, i felt so bad thinking that this baby would be born in a cell but now i dont care " he said. " and do you know what else i'm going to do, well let me tell you, i'm going to move you somewhere else, so not even you will know or get out" he said. i cried harder. but the plans i had made with ashton and tyson ! they'd think i'm lying. but before i could say anything, jamie knocked me out.

a few hours left and i would be meeting amiee's boyfriend. but i was really nervous. it was 6 in the afternoon and i was bored out of my head. twice already, i had almost been tempted to go now and take a slow walk there. but i hadnt. the tv was on but by the emotionless faces of my parents made me think that no one was even watching it. the news women continued to read out her life stories as we stared at the her.

the ticking of the clock began to annoy me  i got up and went up to my room. my feet banging on each step as i walked up. hearing the soft click of my door opening and closing behin me, i went over to my bed and lay down. something wasnt right. i could feel it.
