After a long discussion with mom and dad it was finally decided that I was to go to a boarding school in Lusaka.
High school had just started been fun and I was being sent away the only thing i could feel was range of anger burning inside me
"Did these people called my parents really love me"
The thought of leaving my boyfriend back here gave me a fright as i never believed in long distance relationships
My girlfriend's talked of all kinds of long distance relationships that didn't end well
Finally my mind was made up, I was going to leave without telling Leo.
It was hard to take in but I just had to obviously he would move on once he stopped hearing from me
But i don't think i could ever love another guy as much as i loved Leonard.
Through out the entire night thoughts kept on haunting me till i fell asleep, without realizing it,it was morning
"Good morning lu" i realized it was mom's voice as i opened my eyes
"Slept late huh... but no worries i have packed everything for you"
"It's as if you people are chasing me out of your house" i whispered underneath my breath
"Did you say something"...no no no as i smiled at her.
Okay get up and take a bath then come down stairs and have your breakfast,we don't want to be late,
We have to make a good impression
On our first day
Hearing those word's left me thinking of how unlucky one can be
As soon as i was done I went down stairs i failed to eat so i just hurriedly called my parents so we could leave
The drive was going to be a long one as it was a six hour drive
Atleast i had time to think of every lasting memories in Kong
After a long drive i was able to see the school at a distance some inner part of me felt like crying but i just had to hold it in
Seen mom and dad so happy i just had to play along,upon entering the school premises i thought to myself
"Maybe this isn't a bad place as i think" according to the stories my friends have told, Lusaka is a big city full of big buildings and it's developed.... hmmm" I sighed.
Upon arrival we were shown to the the offices, when finally everything was done and i got admission it was time to say goodbye to Mom and Dad,i didn't want to knowing that they were the reason i was here but i just had to.
