Chapter 4: About Yesterday

I checked out of my hotel room and head to the train station. There were so many people waiting for the train. I was able to get on the train before the door closed. I managed to find a window seat. I sat in the seat and waited for my train to get to Berlin.

I thought a lot of Tezuka. He was a gentleman. I couldn't stop thinking about him. I thought about him so much on the train that I almost forgot to get off at the right stop. I managed to get off the train on time. I sighed. "I should just focus on the destination," I said to myself. I continued my way to my apartment.

I got to my apartment late at night. I dropped my things down. I decided to put my stuff away tomorrow. I went to the kitchen and ate a light dinner. I didn't want to eat a normal meal since it was late at night.

After dinner, I went to bed. I started to think about Tezuka again. He would want to know that I got back to my apartment safely. I decided to text Tezuka to let him know that I was okay. I took my phone out and started texting. "I got back home fine. Rest well. Good night," I texted and send to him. I set my phone on my nightstand and pulled the covers over me.

After 5 minutes, I heard a buzz from my phone. It sounded so loud in a quiet room. I took the phone and looked at the message. "I'm glad you're okay. Get your rest. You have classes tomorrow. Good night," he texted. I smiled wide. {He really looks out for me.}

I set my phone on the nightstand and had another sweet dream.

Next day...

I woke up well rested from my sleep. I lift myself off my bed and went to the bathroom to get ready for the day. I only had two classes today. After washing up, I went to the kitchen to make myself some breakfast. "I need to shop for groceries today," I told myself.

I made some eggs, sausage, toast, an apple, and a cup of milk. While I ate my breakfast, I looked up on the tournament yesterday. Tezuka was in every sport media. I was reading an article about an interview of him.

How does this tournament winning affect your reputation?

Tezuka" "It seems that many people in Europe know me."

Now everyone wants to know how long you have been playing tennis?

Tezuka: "I have been playing tennis since I was little. I was a captain of a tennis team in Junior high and I came to Germany pursue my tennis pro career."

You think that it contributed to your winnings?

Tezuka: "Yes. I became stronger as I play matches against strong players."

How do you parents think about your winning?

Tezuka: "They were happy and supportive. I wouldn't have made it this far without them."

This is a question that everyone wants to know. Is there someone in your life at the moment?

Tezuka: "No there is no one at the moment."

So he doesn't have a girlfriend. I shook my head. "What am I thinking?" I asked myself. I looked at the time. It was 9:00 am. "I better get to school," I said to myself and closed my laptop. I put my dishes in the sink to soak. I got my school bag and went out the door.
