Mina - Your Eyes Tell

The news break.. Myoui Mina take a break from her career because of anxiety. That's mean she will come back to Japan. How do I know this? Well.. Uhhh.. I work for Mr Myoui, her father as driver but he want me to be Mina's bodyguard when she's here. 

So here I am at the gym practice my boxing skills. Why Mr Myoui pick me? Maybe because in my resume, I conclude my taekwondo's certificate and also I said to him that lately I joined boxing class. 

After the practice end, I go to my favourite ramen stall since its on the same way to home. While waiting for my order, my phone rings. Its Mr Myoui! I quickly pick up.

"Hello Mr Myoui. How may I help you, sir?" I say. "Hello Kenji. I'm sorry for disturbing you. Are you free next week? I mean the whole week." he say. "Sure, sir. I dont have any plan beside my boxing practice after works. Why sir?" I ask him. "Look.. Me and my wife decide to pick Mina from Seoul. Wanna come along?" he ask. "Uhh.. Is it okay? Well I dont want to disturb your family gather.." I say politely. "No problem since me and my wife will attend some business meetings so I hope you can accompany my daughter and get along too" he explain. "If you insist sir. I'm okay with that. Err may I ask you?" I say. "Sure boy." "How long we will stay at Seoul?" "About 1 week"

After the call, I eat my ramen that just arrive. While eating, I'm thinking how to get along with Mina, I mean Miss Myoui. I quickly finish my ramen and get home. That night, I have trouble to sleep thinking how it will be later.

1 week later (time skip)

I wake up earlier than usual since our flight at 10am. I get bath and wear white shirt, grey pant and black jacket. I do my last check for my stuff since we will stay there for a week. Satisfy with the stuff, I wear my watch and get my phone. I put my luggage and backpack in the trunk. I drive to Mr Myoui's house.

After park my car in the garage, I get in the house and wait for Mr Myoui and his wife at the living room. After few while, they invite to breakfast with them. After breakfast, another driver send us to the airport. 

2 hours in plane, we finally at Incheon Airport. Then, we take taxi to the condo that Mr Myoui rent. After put our luggages and bags in our room, we go to pick Mina at her dorm. Mr Myoui already rent a SUV for us.

I drive to Twice's dorm and park at the parking lot. Mrs Myoui call her to notify her that we're here. About 10 minutes waiting, I see a beautiful woman, its her. I go to her and help her with the luggages. Then, we go to restaurant that Mina shows us since all of us are hungry.

At the restaurant, while waiting for the order, I introduce myself. "Err Miss Myoui.. I still not introduce myself earlier, sorry.. My name is Kenji Nakamura. I work for Mr Myoui as driver and now I'll be your bodyguard for time being. I hope we will get along soon." I say to her. "Mina Myoui, me too" she say.

Maybe she's shy.. I will make things better next time. Then, we eat our foods and get back to the condo. Mina's room in front of mine. After pack out my luggages and stuff, I get a shower then take a nap. It's already night when I wake up. I take my phone at the night stand and it's near midnight. Uhh that's a good sleep though..

I wash my face and go to kitchen since I'm hungry. The Myoui's family still watching tv. They notice me.

"You must tired, Kenji" Mr Myoui say. "Hehehe maybe" I say while scratch my nape. "There's food in the fridge, just heat up" Mrs Myoui say. Then, I go to kitchen and eat while scrolling my phone.

After the late dinner, I get back to my room. I play games, read online comics but still not sleepy. Then, I decide to take a walk. I put on my coat and take the keys with me. Before I could get to the front door, someone talk.

"Where are you going?" it's Mina, she casually sit in the dark at the dining table. "Ah, Miss Myoui! I just wanna walk around. What are you doing in the dark?" I ask her. "Just Mina. I just wanna drink. Err.. Can I go with you?" she ask me. "Sure. Just bring your jacket or coat. It's cold outside." I say.

Then, she quickly waddle, I mean go to her room and wear her jacket with a bucket hat. We walk around the park near the condo. After some walks, we sit at a bench, quietly awkward. So I start the conversation.

"Err Miss Myoui.. uhh Mina.. Why you take a break from your career? Uhh sorry for asking" I ask her nervously. "Its okay.... Just like the news said, its because my anxiety attack." she say. "I know this sound stupid but uhh.. How its feel?" I ask again. Then, she tell me how she felt about her anxiety, when it start.. I felt sorry for her. Then, I tell her about myself too.

I just want to make her comfortable, want to be friend with her not just regular bodyguard. We tell each other almost every everything, sometimes she will laugh at my jokes or my funny stories. Her laugh and smile somehow warm my heart, melt down. I see some sparkles in her eyes whenever she talk about her family and career. Then, I notice its almost 2am.

"Mina, lets get home. It's already late." I say while get up from the bench. "But can I get some hot choco first?" she ask me cutely. Aigooo... "Sure. I think there's a convenience store on our way here. Lets go." I say.

Then, we go to the convenience store and buy 2 hot choco. "Yummm.. Its good.." she squels happily after one sip of hot choco. I notice there's a choco foam on her upper lip. I quickly take out my handkerchief and give her. She look at me confusedly cute. "Just wipe your lips" I say then drink my drink.

After finish our drinks, we go back home. As bodyuard, I make sure all the doors and windows are lock before I get in my room. When I'm on my way to my room, I see Mina in front my room.

"Why?" I ask her. "Err.. I still dont have your number, Kenji. My dad said I need to ask myself" she say while showing her phone. "Alright." I say. I take her phone and type my number then call my phone. "Done! Goodnight" I say then give her phone back. I was about to enter my room.

"Wait!. Give me your phone." she say. "Why? I already have your number." I ask her while giving her my phone. She take my phone then type something. "Okay done. Goodnight!" she say while giving back my phone and enter her room. I take a look at my phone.

She just save her name.. I see.. 'Minari 🐧'.. "Cute" I mumble. I get in my room and lay in bed. I close my eyes then my phone pop a notification.

Goodnight Kenji - Minari 🐧 , Goodnight too Mina - Kenji 💂‍♂️

Seems like she caught my eyes... and heart.. I promise that I will help her to overcome her anxiety so that I will see the sparks in her eyes again, forever.. I promise myself to keep her safe and happy..
