Dahyun - A Poem Called You

You and Dahyun are in process to get divorce, eventhough have a daughter, Yerin . One evening, you come to pick your daughter as she'll be spending her week with you. Even you have told her to be ready, she still late and you just wait for her in living room. Yeah you leave the house and let your soon to be ex wife stay there with her boyfriend. It's been 5 months since you left the house and 2 months since he moved in.

As you watching tv to kill time, you heard a thunder and look outside the window.

It'll be rain soon..

And you go to your car and take an umbrella. As you get in the house, you see your little girl smiling at you.

"There'll be storms in few places, so we would suggest to stay at home till the rains over..." tv announcer
"Changmin-ah.. There's storm on your way home.. Why dont you stay?" Dahyun say
"Uhh.. I dont know.. Can I?" you scratch your head.
"Yeah.. I'm sure he dont care but I'll let him know.. Excuse me.." she take out her phone and call her boyfriend
"Yeyyy!! Appa will stay here!!!" Yerin excitedly tug on your shirt..

You smile and pick her up. You two sit and watch the tv.

"Oh Changmin-ah.. He said he dont mind.. Also he'll stay at fire station.. " Dahyun just end her phone call
"Mom... I wanna eat something.." Yerin whine
"Eomma will cook soon.. Do you have any clothes?" she ask
"Oh yeah.. I think so.. I'll check in my car"
"Okay.. Also, park your car in driveway.. Just call me if you need anything.." and she go prepare the dinner.

You go to your car and search for your emergency travel bag.. To put it simple, it have your clothes and essentials if you suddenly need to go anywhere.. More to escape the hectic life.. After dinner, all of you watch tv.. It's been like forever since I eat her cooking.. More to you two watching the tv because your kid playing with the cabinet..

"Eomma! Appa! What is this?" your little girl show you an album..

More accurate is Yerin's album.. All her photos in there..

"It's an album.. Your album.. All of your photos in there.." Dahyun quickly answer

Your daughter take it and open it with Dahyun. They're smile at the pictures until..

"What is this? CD game?" your daughter ask..  Maybe she saw me insert the cd games in PS4 before..
"Nope.. It's a cd with a compilation video of you in there.." You answer
"Can we watch it?" your daughter ask
"Sure.. Let me set it up.." you take the cd and put in the video player and play it.

The screen start showing the moment when your daughter born 4 years ago.

"Baby.." Yerin mumble
"That's you when you're born in this world..." you give her a peck on her soft cheek

It continue to when both of your parents came to the hospital excitedly looking for their newborn granddaughter. The moment you cry when your little baby got a shot while your baby just play with your wife shirt. Even the doctor and nurse giggle a bit.

"Appa.. Why are you crying back then?" she ask
"I..." You try to give her excuse
"Because your appa hate needles.." your wife giggle

To your daughter first walk, first birthday party, your holidays and random moments that you take on your camera. As you try to remember what videos in there, the last video show. It's the moment when you came back late from work, you saw 2 loves of your life sleeping at couch.

"Look what we have here.." you whisper in the video, dont want to disturb their sleep
"My cute and beautiful angels are sleeping here.." you bop their nose with your finger.

You put the camera at side table and kiss both of them.. Since you put the camera away, the camera can't record well what are you whispered to them. As you try to walk away and take back the camera, you accidently step on your daughter's squeaky toy.
