Jihyo - Ending scene

Third's POV

You and Jihyo going on a date.. A romantic one..  Rowing a boat across a river..
(yeah I stole Bang Chan' romantic idea, just try go to Vlive and check it.. I'm not sure on what eps it is.. also sorry in advance Channie hyung oppa, only if he read thiss 🥲)

You two reach the middle of river with no one around since you guys go on a weekday.. You both were mesmerised by the sun that will set soon..

The time is ticking but none of you speak.. In your head, you're thinking about the words you wanna say.. Same goes to her..

"Hey" you
"Hey" her
"You go first.." you hold the paddle tightly..
"Alright" she take a deep breath

"I think we should break up" her
"Yeah.." your heart shatters
"I thought the same.." you look at her

Her tears start to escape in a calm mode, you know not a crying mess..
You hate to see her cry.. so you look at the river..

"I'm sorry but we need to.. This relationship are going no where if both of us are too busy.." she start to hick
"Yeah me too.. We're just too toxic to each other... We just keep fighting whenever we met.." you talk in a calm mode.
"I'm sorry if I broke your heart, our promises and all.." she look at you
"Me too.. I'm sorry that I cant fulfill our promises, your wishes.." still look at the river

She's looking down, figdeting end of her favourite blouse, the one that you bought for her..

Your POV
After around 5 minutes of silence..

"Wanna go home now?" I ask
"Can we still see the sunset?" she ask
"Sure" I slowly paddle the boat back to the jetty..

We watch the sunset from the car, with bunch of ballad songs play on radio..

"Wanna eat something?" I ask
"Can we drivethru?" she ask
"Sure"

We drivethru at McD.. She's ordering her favourite, double cheeseburger while me just Happy meal (just a wild guess). After getting our order, I take out my burger and put my drink in the holder.. The rest I give it back to her.. It's like a habit, I'll always ordered Happy meal set and give her the toys cause she loves it but she dislike the Happy meal menu.. I'll keep you happy till the last moment..

"Let's eat at the park near my house.."
"Sure"

We arrive at the park.. Silently eating at a table.. We just look around the park..

The memories start to rush out.. When she ask me to teach her a trick to get off the swing still swinging but my leg goes weak for moment and I fall.. She laugh before check on me..

When we help a kid finding his mom but turns out the mom just go to a store..

When we sit at this table, looking at a family happily play around with each other.. We promise to each other that will be our wish someday..

Damn.. There's so much memories in this park..

"Ready to go home?" I ask her
" Yeah.. It's getting chill here.." she's shaking
I open my jacket and put on her..

We finally reach her home, the dorm actually.. She kinda thinking something but her hand already touch the door handle..

"Something wrong?" I ask her
"Can we kiss? For the la-"

My both hands reach for her face and we kiss.. Not the horny one.. Just a calm kiss.. I can feel her tears running down her face.. She circle her arms around me..

I dont wanna cry.. (ulgo shipji anha)
I'm gonna miss this
I'm gonna miss her

We broke the kiss for air but still on each other's forehead..

"I'm sorry.." she's a crying mess
"I'm sorry too.. I'm sorry for all the time that I'm not there for you.." wiping her nonstop tears
"I'm sorry for all this.. We shouldn't be in this from the start.. I shouldn't give you hope" she's mumbling
"It's okay.. It's already happened.." kiss her forehead

"I'm s-"
"No more sorry.. I forgive you for everything you've done to me.. I'll let you go this night, this day, so you'll be reaching your dreams without obstables like me and so on.. We need to let go to be more happy than we are now.. We need to.." my voice start to crack but still control it

She start to calm a bit and few minutes later she release the hug. It's sting so much cause I know it will be our last moment.. She still hold my end of my jacket that on her..

"Want me send to you to the door?"
"Nope.. I'll go by myself.."

It's been 5 minutes and she still in her seat.. I get out and get her door open..

"Now or never.." I say
She just hum and weakly get off my car, but still, she still standing here..

"Let me send you to your door.." I start to walk but she hold tight my shirt.
"Yes?"I look back at her
"Can we still be friends at least?" she ask me with watery eyes
"Sure.. We can text just like usual.. Just friends" The last sentence hurt me
"Okay I'll go now.. Takecare" she start walking pass me

"You too,Ji.." I turn back to get in my car..
My head ask me to not leave but I need to.. For us..

I run back to her and hug her.
"Takecare my princess.. Please do not catch sick.. Get proper rest and stay hydrated.. I'll always support and watch you from wherever I am.." I release the hug and gently hold her head..

"Lastly.. I love you, Jihyo.. I do love you.." and I kiss her..

She hug me tightly and so do I.. It's like we dont wanna leave each other but we're too busy to stay in love.. She's now catching her dreams and her group getting all the highlights now, so they always busy and on schedule. Same goes to me cause I need to go to overseas like so often..

Just like in the car, we stop the kiss when we lose our breaths.

"Please do takecare of yourself.. You got a whole group to takecare.." I pat her head and walk back to my car. My tears start to betray me.
"I dont want her to see me cry, please.." and my tears getting heavy.

I start my car and just drive away without seeing her off.. I stop at a junction that not too far from her dorm and text Jeongyeon.

'Hey Jeongie! Please takecare of Jihyo.. She's in front of the building.. Thank you!' - me

Then, I put on airplane mode. I just drive with no specific place in my head, just keep going.
