"This is the unholiest abandoned veterinary hospital I've ever seen. I'd put the chances of seeing Canus Spectralis —ghost dog— at total max." Glass shattering was heard in the background, "Somebody's here. I smelt it... but the spirit world dealt it."
A loud crunching sound was heard and Benny, Y/n, and Ethan turned to see an anxious Rory eating chips.
Ethan groaned, "Rory! Vampires don't even need food!" The blond kept his eyes trained on the screen, "You know I'm a stress eater."
Benny and Y/n simply grimaced as the TV continued, "Scare Finder Rule Number Eight: Don't be afraid of scares."
Benny smirked, "Doug's fearless. He's a machine designed to like, delete fear from itself."
The group nodded in agreement while Doug appeared on screen, "Hey, everybody! We're live outside the door of this year's Day with Doug winner. This superfan gets to hang with me and go on a scare find in his own town!"
Y/n's head tilted to one side, "Wait, isn't that-" She was interrupted by the sound of the doorbell, Ethan grunted, "Oh, come on! Who would bother us now."
"That kid must have a crazy luck bonus — like, a plus six!" Rory groaned as Ethan got up to check the door. Y/n shook her head, "Guys, wait, I think thats-"
"I automatically hate this jerk. He should be me and he isn't," Benny rolled his eyes, unaware of his interruption.
On screen the door of the house opened revealing a stunned Ethan inside, "Hey, Big man! Name's Doug Falconhawk."
Y/n murmured under her breath, "Knew it." Benny and Rory's jaw dropped, "Ethan, you'll never believe who won the contest."
Doug leaned in towards Ethan, "Are you Ethan?"
Still shocked, a dazed smile grew on his face, "Hi..."

Doug slowly walked around Ethan's room, the four teenagers watching him in awe.
"I dig your decorating style, Ethan." His eyes stopped on a poster of himself.
Benny laughed nervously, "Ow. Ow. Ow." Y/n looked down and pushed his hand away from his arm, "Benny, this is real. This is a thing that's happening."
"Dude, this is off several hooks," Rory drifted into the air with a dreamy smile on his face. Ethan quickly pulled him down as Doug started talking again, "I don't believe what I'm seeing... There's an action figure of me?"
