"Pinch me."
Y/n's eyes widened as she stared at Benny, "What?" Benny closed his eyes in response, "Just want to make sure that I'm not dreaming this time."
Y/n snickered, "This time? You've had this dream before, B?"
He leaned forward, gaze flickering from her eyes to her lips as he dropped his voice to a whisper, "Oh, more times than you could count, Y/n." Y/n's breath hitched as they both began to lean in closer, almost feeling a magnetic pull to each other.
Right before their lips could meet, Benny reared back with an "Ouch!" He scowled at Y/n, who had just pinched his arm, in shock, "What was that for?"
"You told me to do that!" She laughed. Hearing her laugh, the irritated look on his face quickly fell away, "Yeah, like five minutes ago. I didn't mean right as I was about to kiss you!"
Y/n playfully rolled her eyes at the boy, grabbing his shirt and pulling his face near hers. Benny's eyes widened as he took in their close proximity. Y/n brushed her nose against his with a smirk, "I just wanted to make sure that you knew this was real first."
As Y/n slowly brought her lips up to meet his, she paused, "Wait, you still haven't even asked me to be your girlfriend."
Benny groaned, desperate to kiss her already, and put his hands on her cheeks, "You're my girlfriend now, I'm not giving you a choice and you're stuck with me. Happy?"
Y/n feigned a debating look on her face, "Hm... yeah okay, good enough for me!"
With small smiles creeping up on both of the teenager's face, the two leaned in, finally sharing a desperately awaited kiss. Benny kept one hand on Y/n's cheek while the other dropped down to hold her waist. Y/n circled her arms around Benny's neck, tugging him impossibly closer.
As the two broke away in need of air, Benny sighed, a lovesick smile on his face, "Okay, this is the best dream ever."

A few days later, Benny, Ethan, and Y/n sat in the waiting room for the Principle's Office.
Benny had an arm draped around the back of Y/n's chair as she looked curiously at the random girl who was sitting on the other side of her. The girl was staring straight ahead, music blasting loudly through her earphones.
"Hey, I really like that song..." Y/n tried to strike up a conversation with the girl, receiving no response. Y/n shrugged, "Maybe she can't hear me."
Benny looked between the two girls before patting Y/n on the shoulder, "Are you trying to get her attention? Don't worry, I got this, I'm a bit of a ladies man myself."
Y/n bit back a grin, nodding, "Sure... What's your secret 'ladies man'?"
At the same time, Ethan groaned, leaning forwards, "How could I let you convince me to rewire the P.A. system?"
