As he lay down he felt hunger nagging at his stomach, although George was far too sad and far too embarrassed to walk into the kitchen when everyone else was inside. As he lay helplessly he felt a nudge at his side. "Patches.." he smiled slightly and sniffed, sitting up to pet her. Patches was purring loudly. It soothed Georges soul, it made him feel safe and warm inside. He sighed and lay back down still petting patches who was pressed up against his side. "You'd never leave me would you patches?" He chuckled. Patches pet out a meow and snuggled into his hoodie, Although George couldn't understand what he said he knew it was a yes.
Finally feeling a ouch motivation to get up, George clumsily walked through the bedroom door and down the hallway to the kitchen. As he entered the kitchen he saw dream wasn't there, but rather Sapnap and Karl were pressing buttons and frantically flicking levers on the radio. As he took a chocolate bar from the cabinet a glitchy voice sounded in his ears. "Hello hello, this is Mitch speaking. We're reaching out to any survivors, over." George dropped the chocolate with a startled gasp as he rushed over. Sapnap grabbed a speaker and pushed down on a button. "Hello hello! This is Nick, Sapnap, I am one survivor there are more, over!" Sapnap yelled excitedly. Georges heart rate quickened and his breath grew shaky. A way out.
"This is Captain Mitch, I'm a British pilot. I can escort two survivors out of Orlando to a safe place, I repeat! I can escort two survivors out of Orlando to a safe place, Over!" Georg could barley breath but he was stopped in his path of excitement. "Only two..." he whispered to himself. His eyes widened as he looked up. "There are four survivors! Over!" Sapnap spoke up once more as he pressed on a button. The voice of 'Mitch' began to lag and glitch out although it was just audible. "Two days... 8pm.. two survivors- helicopter, Cant ca- more" The voice spoke up from the small box, and died out with a static buzz. George rapidly looked from side to side.
"Only two." George spoke up. His breath was shaky and a worried look formed at his face. Sapnap glanced at the two of them. George jumped slightly as Dream burst though the doors. Everyone stared at him worriedly. "What happened?!" He said concern edging at his tone. "Dream! Two of us can get out of here! Two days at 8pm!" Dreams eyes widened and he threw his arms in the air yelling, overjoyed. "Yes!!!" He yelled at the top of his lungs, but then paused and looked at the three. "Only two?.." Georges eyes trailed across the floor, he ruffled his her and murmured, "yes.." Dreams mask looked across the room frantically and then back at his friends. "W-who's gonna go?-" He looked back and forth from the anxious people.
"Sapnap and Karl should." George spoke up, looking upwards at the two. "Dream we'll have to hold on for a short while till we can leave." He gave a small nod and dipped his head downwards. "George- are you sure?" Karl muttered. George paused and took a deep inhale. "Yes. Really. You two go." He spoke sternly, clearly sure of his decisions. As they all looked to dream, he gave a nod in approval. "I'll help you guys pack up," Dream spoke up and walked to their room. The two followed not far behind him leaving George in the kitchen.

George wiped away his thoughts and walked towards their rooms to assist them in packing up. As he pushed through the door he saw dream had provided them with two spare backpacks. They packed up all their clothing and other things they needed. George heard a loud sigh from the corner of the room and looked around to Karl. "I will miss this old place, and you two" he chuckled slightly and placed the bag in the corner of the room. "I say we go have some breakfast now, ey?" Dream suggested and walked out of the room to the kitchen. George hesitated slightly and sighed before following dream back, his feet trailed across the floor lazily as he made his way to the kitchen.
Dream had just fetched some eggs and bacon from the fridge as he trotted inside and sat himself down on the wooden chairs. Patches crept under the table and rubbed against his feet purring, making George jump slightly in surprise at the furry soft creature at his feet before giving her a stroke on the chin. He watched as she spotted dream and race walked across to the other side of the kitchen and warped around his legs. He grinned at the sight of the cat. Dream had just lit the stove and poured some olive oil, butter and salt into the pan. He cracked the egg that landed in the pan and began to form the white tint. No one could like that dream was a god at making eggs.
Dream sprinkled some pepper over top of the egg before he took the spatula and slid it under the egg, flipping it over. Georges attention shifted to the door as Sapnap and Karl walked inside. It wasn't long before the eggs and bacon were cooked, and handed out to the three. George eagerly started eating. "So.. what do you guys wanna do today?" Dream questioned as he sat down and lifted his mask slightly to eat. "Mmm, breakfast is great dream!" Karl spoke up, his mouth half full. "Mhm!" Sapnap agreed. "Thanks, and don't chew with your mouthful you could choke." Dream chuckled and put his and Georges plate in the sink.
"I'll stay home.. I'll miss this place when I'm gone." Sapnap laughed. George shrugged and nodded. "Yeah let's make the most of staying here!" He agreed and looked at dream who nodded. "Yeah let's stay here."
Sorry for the late submission I've been struggling to find motivation. Now posting every other day so sorry :((
