TW: mild gore, blood

George walked around the hallway aimlessly, tired and bored. He trailed from side to side his feet scraping across the cold stone tiles as thought came and crossed through his mind. His thoughts were cut off by a voice behind him. "Hey George, wanna get Dream and go out scavenging for a bit??" Karl questioned behind him. George spun round to face him, bags coated underneath his eyes. He was slightly slumped over but straightens up his back. "Sure thing, I'll get dream." George begins to walk towards their room.

"Dream??" He looked around the room. Dream was no longer there. George knew dream was extremely stealthy but he never knew he could disappear in seconds without him knowing. "This guy is crazy skilful.." he muttered. "A skilled kisser??" Karl giggled behind him. He scoffed and rolled his eyes before heading to the kitchen. George pushed through the door the hinges screeching as he entered the room, there he saw dream in his blue hoodie, stroking patches and talking gibberish to her in a baby voice. "Aww hey patches!" George crept over and rubbed her under the chin. "Dream Karl wanted to go out scavenging or something." George said half distracted by the loveable cat purring.

"Sure thing, I actually was listening to that radio last night and they said the amount of zombies had increased..." Dreams mask edged up to face George. George raised an eyebrow in curiosity. "How is that possible..." George lifted his hand from patches and sat down besides dream. "I'm not sure. It was so delayed and glitched I could barley hear." George huffed and narrowed his eyes in curiosity. He fiddled with the strings on the hoodie, rolling them up and letting them go again. "So we can't go out."

Dream looked down and chuckled. "I never said that," without another second to waste he stood to his feet, patches scrambled away. Dream began to walk out of the door towards the hallway. George quickly stood up and filled behind him, his short legs race walking behind the taller man. Dream walked to the opposite end of the hallway where a large door stood. Dream slid open the door and walked inside slowly, flicking the switch. Bright light filled Georges vision, he covered his hand across bai eyes till he adjusted to the light. He looked around and his eyes widened in fear.

"DREAM?!" He yelled in surprise his jaw dropping open. Plenty weapons met his vision. There were knifes, flame throwers, axes and swords spread across a large concrete wall. Georges hands flew to his mouth as he sat there surprised. He heard Dream wheeze and pick up a knife and an axe. "Here let me help," Dream said as he placed down the axe and pulled up Georges hoodie sleeve. He began to tighten the knife around Georges arm with the case and rubber straps. He fastened it and pulled the hoodie sleeve back down. "Go get Karl and Sapnap." George quickly nodded and ran out to get them.

Dream handed them each an axe and a knife before grabbing a sword for himself. A wide grin spread across their faces as they began to head out. They all kept clear of the ladder as Dream pulled the door swiftly, sending it flying down and landing with a crash.

As they reached the top, let's say the radio had not failed dream on the news.. thousands of zombies crawled across the rubble and ash, tails of blood marked behind some of them. Dream already began heading out towards the supermarket George had previously tried to scavenge when he was alone, but was stopped in his tracks by the undead. The rest of them began hiking across the rubble and smoke behind Dream. George edged himself forward and forcefully walked faster till he was besides dream. Dream was clenching his sword as George stared at him. "Yes George??" He asked and his mask turned to face him. George quickly looked down. "Nothing I just- Uh Yknow like- all the zombies- scary." Dream took a brief second to slip out a wheeze before carrying on.

As an undead being approached them Georges stomach flew with fear as watched how Dream raised his sward and slashed the zombie multiple times with his sward before spearing it in the chest with the razor sharp sward. Dream huffed, blood stained across his trousers. George smiled slightly as he took his time to worry if the hoodie had gotten any blood on it. Dream dusted off the sleeves and continued walking onwards. They continued down the rout behind the flickering street lights of Georges past wrecked home. He slipped out a sigh from his mouth and continued by Dreams side.

As he glanced behind he saw Sapnap and Karl visibly distressed and clenching onto their axes. George hummed in curiosity, narrowing his eyes before turning back around ahead of him. As George saw a zombie approaching from his side he raised his axe and slashed it down its chest. The undead being fell down with a gurgle and lay still. "Good shot George, nice!" Dream praised him. A smile spread across his face as they continued.

After what seemed like a long time of ending the dead beings and creeping across the rubble, they soon arrived at the supermarket. George realised he hadn't brought his bag. 𝑺𝒉𝒊𝒕! 𝑰𝒎 𝒔𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒘𝒆𝒅.. George looked at the rest of the group and noticed that they all had empty bags. "Fuck.." George muttered bothered. "What's wrong??" Dream asked, curiosity edging his tone as he walked up to the front of the supermarket and fought off a zombie quickly. "I forgot my bag-" he sighed helplessly. Dream shrugged and looked at him, once more dusting off the hoodie. "It's okay you can come with me." Dream stood facing Sapnap and Karl. Sapnap rolled his eyes tiredly. "Cant you two go one second without being all flirty.." Sapnap grumbled grumpily, raising an eyebrow.

Dream wheezed loudly. "Oh come on now. We're not flirting!" he rolled his eyes. George narrowed his eyes at Sapnap. "Why do you have to make everything sexual Sapnap." George chuckled. Sapnap sighed and flicked his hand. Dream and George continued into the supermarket.
