George woke up with a small jump feeling rustling along the mattress sheets. A sort of crunching noise and followed by a thud. George leaned over the mattress to look at Dream, seeing a small figure slink behind him. He was on the floor now and must have rolled off in his sleep. George jumped to sit up straight and looked behind Dreams shoulder. He was sleeping on his side the eerie mask eyeing him creepily. Stretching up a final bit more he spotted it. A small brown and white cat staring at him with glassy eyes. The glowing pupils of the cat gave him shivers. He watched as the cat proceeded to walk to Dreams mask and rub its face vigorously against it waking him up.

Dreams mask shifted upwards as he saw the cat, and he began to stroke its back swiftly. "Patches." he giggled cheerfully as if he'd been best friends with the cat. "Patches?" George raised an eyebrow only cooling down after realising there wasn't a zombie intruder coming to attack him. The cat was purring loudly the vibrations soothing George and making him smile. It sat down and looked over to George with its glassy eyed glare once more.
"My cat George. Her name is patches" Dream sat up from the cold dirt covered floor and pulled up his sleeve, revealing a small wrist watch. "It's 3am, go back to sleep." He sighed and lay back down on the floor dragging Patches towards him and hugging her, no longer facing George. George stayed sitting up for a brief second looking at dream thoughtfully before laying back down and curling up in the sheets.

Once more George found it was almost impossible to sleep. He rolled over and looked at Dream who was now fast asleep. George paused and admired his wavy hair, the black band that held the mask to his face wrapped round the back of it almost hidden. Suddenly Dreams body shifted round to face him, touching against the mattress. George froze slightly scared slightly flustered at the muscular man rolling closer to his mattress.
Patches squirmed out of his reach, and to his surprise Dreams mask tilted downwards. George quickly lay back down his heart racing scared he was seen staring at Dream. Dream chuckled slightly and rolled onto his back. 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐭 𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐭 𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐭!! 𝐖𝐚𝐬 𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞. George could feel his face getting redder. He closed his eyes and fought himself to sleep embarrassed thoughts rushing through his mind but it soon all cleared as he fell soundly asleep.

George woke up once more, patches lay at the end of his mattress curled up. He couldn't help but smile until he realised the embarrassing events that occurred last night. He grunted uncomfortably slowly glancing over and sitting up rapidly. Dream was gone. "Dream?? Dream!?" He yelled curiously quickly standing up and startling patches as he did. His feet made heavy thuds as he scrambled across the floor looking in every room he could see in reach for Dream. In the hall there were plenty doors across the cool stone floor. A bathroom, a storage room, a bathroom the kitchen and a living room. At the opposite end end of the hallway was another door. He crept inside seeing many weapons, the same dull concrete floor and walls and a single light bulb inside. He backed out.. but he couldn't find Dream anywhere.

All of a sudden there was a loud knock. George glanced upwards frightfully to where the sound had came from. "George! It's Dream let me in." He knocked again. "Dream!!" George smiled relived and pulled the handle. A ladder slid down almost knocking him on the head. It fell to the floor with a loud thud. "Looks like someone missed me" he laughed. "Stop-" he spoke up embarrassed. George examined him, gasping as he saw one of his backpacks and a blue hoodie in hand.. one of his own hoodies from his house. Dream relaxed the heavy bag from his shoulder, landing on the floor with a gentle clatter. and handed the hoodie to George. "Went on a small trip." Dream smiled.

George opened the hoodie.. it was full of his clothes and important items from his home. "You know where I live?!" He paused suspiciously. "Kinda suspicious Dream.." The masked man wheezed loudly bending over. "I've been planning to save you for a while now of course I knew you were the only other survivor." His mask tilted back up to look at George. "The only other one?.. were the only surviving people??" Dream went silent. He seemed to be deep in thought, he pulled down his hood and walked forwards to the kitchen. "I'm afraid so.." he murmured on his way.
