George woke up a little while after dream, who was still hugging him. It wasn't long before he recalled the events last night and lay his head back onto Dreams chest. "Good morning" Dream sat up and George quickly realised he still wasn't wearing the mask. George watched as he picked it up from the floor and placed it over his head once more, hiding his whole face and scar again. George sighed and snuggled down into Dreams hoodie, breathing in the smell. "Cmon sleepy head, get up." Dream laughed and stood up while George rolled sideways off the mattress with a grumble as he landed on the cold floor.
Dream unlocked the door and walked out, stretching his arms up in the air. George lifted himself from the floor and walked out after him. His feet dragged along the cool tiles where he walked into the kitchen and sat down. Sapnap and Karl were already there. Georges head landed on the smooth wood table with a thump, edging to the side. Sapnap and Karl who were previously joking around with each other and chatting turned to look at him and dream, a confused cringing look on their faces and they chuckled slightly. "You guys... nice hoodies-" Karl said laughing.
Georges eyes widened he grunted and looked up. "What it's nothing- I'm colourblind okay??" He said rubbing his eyes. "Well.. didn't you say you weren't blue colourblind?? George remembered, he had brought it up in conversation once. And you mean dream ironically is wearing yours now??" Sapnap laughed. George could hear dream behind him wheezing hysterically. He clenched his teeth together grumpily. "No it's really not what your thinking" he said angrily. Everyone in the room laughed their asses off once more. "George then tell me- what's those marks on your neck??" Sapnap spoke up through the loudness. Georges eyes widened and his cheeks reddened very slightly. "Mosquito bite okay." He lay his head back on the table. "Oh my goodness- I never knew dream was a mosquito did you??" Karl looked at Sapnap who was dead with laughter once more.
"What?!" Dream spoke up. "That's enough Cmon guys, be nice to george." Sapnap rolled his eyes and nodded subtly. "Don't even get me started on the sounds coming from your room last night though!" Karl burst out laughing once more but was immediately silenced as he saw dream staring at him eerily with the mask, not moving or taking his eyes off Karl. Dream looked back round and continued cooking silence and tension thick in the air. George tapped the table with his fingers, and sighed. "So you two are leaving today??" He smiled. Dream walked over and handed them their food.
Their faces darkened as they sighed. "I guess we are.. well have to find a flight to somewhere safer somehow." George lifted the hoodie neck over his nose warning a weird look from Sapnap. Dream placed down the last two plates and George immediately lifted down the hoodie again and started to eat, he was starving hungry. "Or.. you two could stay for a while longer?" Dreams mask tilted up. George sunk down in his chair as he thought of Dreams face. He huffed out a breath of air and continued eating looking down at the table. "Yes!! We will!" They spoke up in cheer. Dream snickered and lifted his mask to eat the scrambled eggs and toast he had prepared for everyone.
George rolled his eyes. "I can't imagine what you two must do every night as well" George laughed. "What do you mean George you have no proof!!" Karl protested. "Whatever crybaby" George scoffed and continued eating.
Dream stood and walked out, probably going back to his and Georges room while Sapnap and Karl walked back to theirs. George followed after dream along the cold tiles back to their room. As he walked through the door he spotted dream unpacking and hanging up all the decor alongside the blue lights. The vines, the beanbag and the plants. George helped him as well, unrolling the carpet in the centre of the living room and spreading the soft blanket over the bed. It wasn't long before the room was finished, it looked way better now he had to be honest. Dream sighed and put his hands on his hips, "looks nice!" He said cheerfully.
George suddenly remembered his phone and the charger. He pulled his phone and charger out his bag and plugged it in an outlet in the corner. "George!! You had a phone this whole time?!" Dream yelled in disbelief. "Uh yeah- sorry even I forgot!" George said anxiously as he waited for it to charge. "It'll take a while..." Dream said as he ran his finger round the black strap holding his mask. "In the mean time what do you wanna do today George?" Dream asked curiously. George shrugged, "I don't know... relax I guess??" He said as he lay down on the bed. Dream huffed in amusement and sat next to him boredom edging at the back of their minds as they began chatting about random things, their past lives and their old hobbies.
