Harry's POV
I felt my heart start pumping faster as Mel peeked around the shower door flashing a devilish grin, beckoning me to come join her. I quickly stumbled out of my boxers as I made my way towards her, it was just her and me right now, nothing else in the world, I had missed that.I stepped in the steaming water pulling her towards me, not even bothering to pull the door shut.
"I love you" she said before pressing her lips to mine one, two, three times.
"You sure you wanna do this" I ask placing my hands on either side of her face taking in the mascara running down her cheeks and her dark hair slicked back by the water.
"I'm sure, now kiss me before I change my mind" she giggled before stepping on her tiptoes as she always did so that our lips could meet.
I wasn't sure as to how I had gotten so lucky, how an unlikely accident in a bar had to lead to this moment and the butterflies in my stomach, but I was so very glad that it did.
I pulled the shower door closed finally only to press her against it. There were moments of awkwardness, we laughed and splashed about but when it finally happened it was magical. I had been with other girls, I am no stranger to a woman's body but being with Melody was like the first time all over again.
She shrieked as the water suddenly turned cold, it had ended a long time ago but we stayed there holding each other, whispering sweet nothings, enjoying the moment. She jumped out but pushed the door shut before I could step out.
"What's the password" she laughed trying to fight me and hold the door closed.
"I love you! You're beautiful! Let me outtttt!" I knew I sounded like a small child and I could have easily reached over and turned the water off but Mel had known a time when the person she loved didn't play her games, didn't play along with her quirky tendencies, I was going to make sure she didn't have to do that anymore.
The door finally slid open and there she was standing on the other side of it with a bright smile and towel wrapped around her. I turned the water off and stepped out to join her.
"I could have frozen to death, just get what you wanted from me and leave me to die, is that how this is going to work Ms. Cole" I asked wrapping my arms around her, taking in her body heat, I was actually freezing.
"You aren't dead are you" she smirked raising an eyebrow.
I shook my head at her then reached for my own towel off of the shelf. "You get dressed, I'll clean all of this up" I told her.
"I love you" she said softly before placing a quick peck on my cheek and then stepping out to let me clean up our clothes and the water puddles we had left everywhere.
Twenty minutes later and we were squeezed into my twin size bed, my feet were hanging off the end and Mel was practically laying on top of me so that we could both fit but neither of us minded.
"We have to go back to the real world soon" she sighed drawing shapes onto my chest.
"You have to go back to the real world, I'm just a cheeky little barista" I said laughing.
"I'm okay with that as long as you don't ruin my coffee" she giggled looking up at me. I had made it my civil duty to ruin her coffee order every time since we met, she says she hates me for it but I know she finds it endearing.
"Would you be okay with me going back to uni" I asked sitting up and taking her with me.
"I think that is a fantastic idea if that's what you want to do, dear."
"Okay, let me try that again. Would you be okay with me going back to uni...in London?"
