Not So Typical

Chapter 5

I was pulled from my sleep with Elsa pouncing on me and pulling the covers out of my reach. At least it wasn't Kate, I could easily distract El away from the questions about Harry that I knew were coming. Kate never gave up on anything.

"Morning El" I mumbled sitting up and yanking the covers back up to cover my bare stomach. My mind floated to the thought of Harry's hands on my body last night, I couldn't get him out of my head.

"So how did it go? Did you sleep with him? Please say you did, he is so fit! You need a cute guy like him in your life after Andrew."

I cringed at the name, why did she have to bring him up? He was the reason I was boring and stayed in and didn't go on dates. Even the sound of his name caused awful memories to rush to the surface.

"Oh, sorry...I forgot we swore not to mention him" she said placing her hand on my shoulder and giving it a comforting squeze.

"It's alright. And no I didn't sleep with him, what kind of tramp do you take me for" I said shooting her a glare and heading for the bathroom.

I started wiping off the remnants of last night's makeup as the questions kept coming.

"Well then what did the two of you do last night, you didn't stay at the club very long and you had to have come home quite late for the two of us to been sleeping." She was quite persistent today.

"We just got a bit of food is all and had a little chat, nothing too exciting. Now Els can I please shower in peace? Report back to Kate and tell her all of the not so juicy details, run along" I said laughing and pushing her out of my room making sure to lock the door behind her. I tried to not run as I went for my phone hoping that there was a message from Harry waiting on me. I got my wish.

"Lunch with my friend Zayn and his girlfriend around 1, what do you say?"

What this a lunch date? A lunch double date? Don't overthink I said to myself taking a deep breath and composing an answer.

"Sounds lovely, where are we meeting? Would you like me to bring your coat, I would hate for you to freeze!"

I unplugged my phone and took it with me to the bathroom. I turned on the shower and took off what few articles of clothing I was wearing. I was about to step into the steamy water when my phone buzzed signaling a reply.

"We'll meet at the cafe and then walk from there if that's alright. You wear it, I have others. See you soon. xx"

I sat my phone on the counter and stepped into the shower wishing the hot water would wash away my awful past and give me a fresh new start with Harry. 40 minutes later my hair was dried and my natural waves tamed and unfrizzy for once. I put on a slight bit of makeup, my favorite tan jumper, dark jeans, combat boots, and Harry's coat.

When I got to the living room Elsa and Kate were nowhere to be seen and it was completely spotless. They had left a note taped to the door, "Thanks for letting us crash as usual. Have fun with Harry ;) Love you!" I shook my head and laughed as I shut the door and locked it behind me. The walk to the cafe seemed like it went a lot quicker than when I did it every other day of the week, I was just excited to see him.

I found him sitting in a chair outside with sunglasses on that made him look even cuter. As he saw me approaching him he slid them back to reveal those beautiful green eyes.

"Hi love" he said happily grabbing me into a hug. "You look way better in that thing than I do" he mumbled into my ear before pulling away.

I felt msyelf blushing, he just did that to me. "Why thank you, you look quite dashing yourself in those shades" I said with a polite smile.
