Evie was with Mal at hers and Carlos' house, to spend some more time with her, and get out of the house. And while her and Mal were chatting with each other, they were watching Marley playing with Ember who was babbling at her in her swing. "Aren't they just adorable?" Evie asked Mal.

"Oh yes, definitely. I know they're going to grow up to be best friends, just like their moms." Mal agreed and she and Evie laughed together. "So, I heard about Harriet. I had a feeling she was up to something, I just didn't know what. But I still wasn't expecting her to be working for the hooded person."

"Yeah, neither did I. I'm getting more and more worried though. Harriet was very obviously hinting at the fact that her boss would be coming back." Evie told her. "I'm starting to think that it's not safe to stay at the house anymore, especially with Ember."

"Well, of course it's not!" Mal told her. "That creep in the hoodie keeps breaking into your house and threatening you guys over and over again. If you need to, you guys can always stay here with us until the creep is gone."

"Thanks for the offer Mal, I appreciate it. But I'm not going to put you and your family in danger either." Evie replied. "I mean, what if the hooded person finds out we're staying here and then comes here and puts you all in danger. No, I'm not gonna be responsible for that."

"Well then, what are you gonna do?"

"I don't know. I don't even know what we can do. I think we've done everything we can, and they still keep coming back." Evie began crying as she continued talking. It was all just crashing down on her, the weight of all the stress she had been under with trying to take care of Ember while also trying to protect her from whoever was the one threatening them. And what made it worse was that the one who was under the hood, could be someone that they thought was their friend. It was Ginny all over again, only worse.

"I know. This is just awful." Mal told her. "I just hope that whoever is the one that's doing this to you, is caught and punished for all they've done to you."

Evie nodded her head in agreement, as that was what she wanted too. But all of a sudden, a knock was heard on Mal's front door. The two women glanced at each other, before Mal went to open the door, and standing there, was Hank. "Hank? What brings you here?" Mal asked him.

"I'm just here to see Evie." He told her.

Evie, after hearing Hank's voice, appeared behind Mal. Hank smiled at the sight of his sister-in-law. "Evie, hey! I came to see how you were. I know about Harriet." He said.

"Yeah, I'm doing okay. But, how did you know I was here?" Evie asked him as for safety purposes, Evie told no one she was at Mal's.

"Well, I had gone to your house but no one answered, and I saw your car wasn't there. But then I called Henry, and he said you were here." Hank replied. "So, what happened to Harriet?"

"Well obviously we called Ben to tell him that Harriet has been working for the hooded person, and now the police have her in their custody." Evie told him.

Hank nodded before he broke eye contact with Evie for a split second, before looking into her brown eyes once more. "Look Evie, I can only imagine how hard this has all been on you. But I want to help, and I want to start by helping you feel better, why don't you and me go out and get something to eat real quick."

"I don't know, Hank. I can't exactly leave Ember here.." Evie said.

"Who said you had to leave her? Bring her with us." Hank said to her.

Evie glanced back at Mal who was just leaning against the wall watching the two of them. "Come on E. Go out and have fun for a little bit." Mal encouraged her.
