A few days have passed since the last incident and well.. it's not exactly getting any better.

"Too personal."

"I- what's too personal?!!"

"I thought we agreed on no personal questions!"

"How is your weight any close to personal, aphroditus?!! "

Their bickering never ends. Everytime they meet, it's like they want to grab at each other's throats. Both were putting up a fight, none backing down that's for sure. It's not like they were even arguing on important issues. Nope, only trivial ones.

From what to steal and what not to steal, to how ill mannered she was (for the millionth time), and to the stupidest arguments about the way she dresses and on how stupid his face looks. Those two seemed to clash every single time,

And it was slowly driving val insane.

"oh I'm sorry nobody taught you to never ask a person their weight!"

"You- I only need it for a research!!"

"Excuse me? What research would you possibly need my fvckin' weight for-?"

"CAN YOU TWO SHUT IT?!"

the two stilled at val's raised voice. He was usually a silent and timid type, definitely the last person to get angry. He sighed and rubbed his temples at the now silent duo, hating how he needed to do such a thing.

"I am SO sick and tired of your useless quarrelling guys!!" Val began, pointing at both of them threateningly. A vein almost popped of his forehead in fury.

"It's been more than a week yet you both act like two strangers fighting for the last paper roll in a pandemic!!"

"... I bet the readers can relate to tha-"

"Theif!!"

"oops okay, sorry, continue please.."

Val sighed once again.

"Look I don't care if your personalities aren't the best when together..but you better stop your fighting for god's sake!"

The two exchanged a glance then looked away immediately, both feeling embarrassed and ashamed. Their personalities indeed couldn't get along, they knew that, yet they didn't even try to fix it.

y/n was a person filled with pride, that she wouldn't accept any criticism even if it's the truth.

Aphroditus was one who's filled with determination and stubbornness, fighting till his last breath for what he sees as the best.

They both needed to stop, but they find it to be the hardest.

"Well, what are you both waiting for? Go on! Kiss and make up!!" Val's words indeed left the two speechless, jaws dropped and eyes shot open.

"I'm-excuse me?!"

"I SAID HUG EACH OTHER!!"

"okay okay we're sorry!!"

"Yeah don't kill us please, asshat kid.."

y/n and aphroditus both jumped in surprise and engulfed each other lightly. Their bodies weren't touching but only their hands patted each other's backs for a few seconds. Nevertheless, it sent electricity through their bodies and left them with a chilly and odd feeling. It was the first time they properly touched since their meeting.

"Now.." val clapped happily, his mood turning a whole 180 degrees. "How about we discuss the troubling question like civilized people?" He suggested, his voice hiding the threatening behind that sweet toothy smile.
