"Aphroditus just can't rest, now can he?"

"Indeed he cannot, soohyun.

"Yesterday, around 9PM, the thief had made an appearance in one of the homes of the east district, and well, you know the drill."

The interviewer nodded at the other and turned his attention to the camera once again.

"He managed to rob it, like how he always did for the past 13 years"

"Although there is nothing new, detectives and police claim that there is hope in finally tracking that famous thief."

"Well I don't know about that, soohyun. But we just might wait and find out."

"And the only question that remains throughout seoul's citizens.. when will this madness finally cease?"

y/n took a sip of her water in silence, but that smug smirk never left her face. She wasn't a fan of interviews, but she just found it amusing how the male and female on the TV screen speak of someone who's an anonymous to almost everyone as if they know anything.

Pfft– attention seekers.

They didn't know anything. Not the interviewers, not the detectives, and definitely not the police. Aphroditus was far too smart to let that happen.

"Oh please I'm too smart to let that happen"

"My Man you barely have an IQ of 4.."

"Just quit slacking around or you'll get fired baek!"

Three guards chatted by the grand mansion's main entrance, all weaponed and ready for any intruder.

Not knowing that what sneaked past them was not just ANY intruder.

One of the guards stopped talking when he sensed something, or rather someone. He turned around abruptly and blinked through the rustling tree leaves that almost blinded his vision. He caught a glimpse of a silhouette behind the giant trunk, standing so still, almost like a shadow.

The black figure just looked so unreal to a point where he thought it was a hallucination.

Must've been lack of sleep, he thought.

He rubbed his eyes off the dirt and leaves that fluttered through the air. However, when he opened his eyes, the strange silhouette was no longer existing. Nothing but the tree stood in his vision, leaving him completely confused.

"You comin' chan?"

His mate's voice awakened him.

"Huh?"

One smiled in amusement at his dazed state.

"Bro you look so lost. Sleepy already? "

The other looked at him with a cocked eyebrow. He noticed their gaze and lightly laughed, shaking his head.

"Nah it's nothing!.. just thought I saw something."

"Interesting.. should we go check in lay?"

The two looked at the third, who rarely spoke throughout the conversation, waiting for the plot-changing answer with anticipation. He thought hard and finally decided, uttering the words with so much confidence.

"No."

The two shrugged and went back to patrolling the area, not knowing the so-called silhouette was watching the entire scene. He clutched onto the wall's edge with one hand, while the other worked on easing his beating heart. He let out a breath he'd been holding and decided he shouldn't stay put for long.
