Song that helped- as the world caves in

Mina dismissed everyone after lunch still annoyed that you had forgiven gallant and Timothy. "So I punished them for nothing then, humph" she said dramatically. You chuckled quite hard at this because it was funny to see her frustrated at your kindness
"if all I do is be angry I would live a rather miserable life would I not, Wilhemina?" You asked knowing how she would respond.. "actually (Y/N) it isn't that bad" she said almost offended at the implication you just made, she giggled slightly trying to make sure you didn't see her laughing. "I'm only joking Mina" you laughed and she laughed back, you harmonised together and all you could think about was her. You loved the way she talked, the way she walked, the way she cared about you like no other, the way that her whole day revolves around protecting you. You were so deeply in love with Mina that nothing in the world could take you away from her.

You spent some time together in the library as it still remained your favourite place in the whole of the outpost (other than Minas Bedroom of course you loved how comfortable her bed was and how many cuddles you got when you were there). All you wanted to do is be around her. She watched you read intently she loved how you focused so closely on the book discarding the world around you (except her Ofcourse).

Dinner time rolled around as the clock struck the next number and rang out through the halls. As everyone gathered including you and Wilhemina you sat down for the now half a cube and some water. It had been months since you stepped foot in this place now, soon to be a year. Time moved achingly slowly and painfully hungrily you just wanted it to be over and you and Mina to live a life outside of this outpost. During dinner you sat next to her as you always did and as you always wanted to, being with Mina gave you strength in your mind and body that you never knew you had. It was like a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors, Wilhemina is your rock for you to lean on, you are the paper when peoples words cut through you like scissors and the rock always gets revenge by crushing them.

After dinner you went back to your room to lay down you were tired from all the thinking you did today, you though about Mina and how you'll never get a chance to truly be with her. You also had thought previously about your recovery and wondered why you were doing it when you wanted to relapse so badly, Mina was your reason not to that's why you started thinking about her.

The thoughts of her healed your shattered mind. That's when you heard a knock at your door. "(Y/N)? Can I come in please?" You heard a cold but almost bitter sweet voice echo under your door. It was her, you knew it was her. "Yes ofcourse, you don't need to ask" you replied. Mina came in slowly first staring at the dim fire then the tears on your face that glistened along with it. She closed the door softly so as to not wake anyone. You knew she had seen the salty water that had ran down your weeping face and you knew she would ask what happened. "(Y/N)? What's wrong? What happened to you?" She said curiously but cautiously so she didn't pressure you too much. If there is one thing you knew she hated most it's seeing you upset like this. "I'm just having a bad day" you said trying to brush her off slightly but the sniffling of your runny nose told her to ask again. "Please I know somethings wrong?" She said, you were surprised as Mina has never pleaded with you like this before, she's never acted like this before. "I just was having bad thoughts and I didn't want to act on them but the only thing I could think about is you-" you stopped at your weakness and need to fall into her embrace. "Why didn't you say anything sooner?" Mina asked now only wanting to hold you so you know your safe with her as always. "Because Mina, I love you.... and I didn't want you to think of me differently." You replied with fresh tears now threatening to leave your sore eyes. "I love you too (Y/N)." She said whilst pulling you towards the centre of the bed and laying down under the covers.

You weren't sure how long you had been laying there but all you knew is that you weren't alone anymore. You shifted further into her neck and she held you tighter as you both drifted off to sleep In each other's arms.
