"Alec, come on, we are going to be late for the exams if you don't hurry up," the girl said.
"Seriously, N/N, you need to calm down, or else we can't move anywhere," said the blue-eyed boy glaring at her. As he stared at her, annoyed, he still couldn't help but think about how beautiful she is.
The two teens went through the house looking for everything they needed to go take the entrance exam for Yuuei University, the schools for heroes. Honestly, Alec didn't really want to become a hero; he just wanted to make sure his best friend would be safe and happy. This is why he is planning to enroll in general studies, though he has a powerful quirk. Y/N always teases him about how wonderful a hero she would think he would be, but it really isn't his style.
The girl wanted to become a hero just like her father, Shouta Aizawa, the hero Eraserhead. Though Eraserhead wasn't a popular hero, he still inspired her. She grew up with the man taking care of her since she was the age of one. She knew he was only her adoptive father, but she loved him nothing less. The girl had big dreams. She trained under her father starting at the age of fourteen to learn to protect herself and train one day for her to enter into Yuuei.
"Y/N Alec, you are going to be late if you don't hurry up and catch the train," yelled the sleepy teacher. He looks up the stairs and hears the sounds of shuffling and sighs.
"Papa, we will be off now. I'll see you after the exam is over, okay" the brown hair girl says to her father, kissing him on the cheek. Her blue-eyed friend in tow behind her waving saying goodbye to the man.
"Alec, you know I'm just so excited I can't contain myself seriously how do you think I will do- what if I fail...OH GOSH ALEC, WHAT IF I FAIL" yells the girl shaking him back and forth.
"Y/N, you need to take a deep breath and calm down. You have been training since you were fourteen years old. Do you really think you are going to fail? And for the love of All Might, if you don't stop freaking shaking me," Alec sighs and looks at her once she stops shaking him and flicks his best friend in the forehead. "Seriously, N/N you are going to be fine. You are amazing. I don't know why you are so worried."
"Yeah, I guess you are right. I'm just nervous, you know, I have worked my butt off, and I really don't want people to think that I am entitled because my father works there."
"I understand N/N, but you will be fine. You just have to put your skills to work, plus you really think anyone else has really been working as hard as you?" Alec takes another deep breath and says, "Look, what I'm trying to say is that you will do fine. I believe in you. So does your dad. I know that you will become the hero you always wanted to be okay."
The girl grins at him, not really noticing the look he was giving her, and says a quick thank you. They make their way to the train station boarding the train soon after they arrive. They hop onto the train, both sharing an airpod listening to Alec's so-called "emo playlist." As Y/N continues to tease Alec and try to poke him, she doesn't realize that she accidentally elbowed the nervous greenette sitting next to her.
"Y/N look what you did you hit the poor boy," scowls Alec. "Now apologize to him, dude. I'm sorry, my friend here is kind of a klutz and tends to get carried away."
The girl frantically looks at the boy and grabs his hands to apologize " Oh my Gosh, I'm so sorry I got distracted teasing the breadstick next to me I didn't even notice you, please forgive me."
The boy looks frantically between the Brunette and the blue eye guy he just met and flushes red " Uh- i-i-ts okay, I don't mind um if you don't mind me asking where are you two headed off two" the timid boy asks the girl.
"Oh, thank God he forgave me anyway. We are headed off to Yuuei for the entrance exams. What about you" she asks excitedly.
"Oh, I am also headed there to Yuuei. It's my dream to become a hero and put a smile on people's faces," the greenette says to the girl.
Alec scoffs at how the boy can be so bright, but then he glances at the girl next to him and sees how she is glowing at the mention of being a hero. He puts his pride aside, and the scowl on his face softens when looking at the girl. She suddenly then shouts, "OH, how exciting it's also my dream to become a hero. I'm Y/N L/N, and the beanpole next to me is my best friend Alec Alpheion. What's your name?" she smiles and asks him.
"Oh, my name is Izuku Midoriya," he grins back at her.
