Gravitational Pull

Chapter 4

The excitement of being accepted into Yueei is still hitting her. Y/N was sitting on her bed thinking about how this is the start of all of her dreams. Her fathers decided to take her out with Alec's family to celebrate them both getting into Yueei. Shouta and Hizashi try to convince Alec to join the hero's course over dinner. They said they could easily transfer him as long as he was okay with it. Of course, Alec declines he doesn't feel up to being a hero.

"You know Aizawa I respect you and Mic very much but I just don't feel called to being a hero. I'm only going to this school because Y/N wants me to so we can stick together for the next three years honestly it's a drag to try to put my quirk to use. I only will use it to help Y/N train to be the best hero she can" states the blue-eyed boy.

The girl purses her lips before turning to say to her best friend, "I can respect your decision Alec I just think being a Hero would suit you. The talent you have when it comes to using your quirk is phenomenal. You have great control and know your limits, many people don't have as great of control as you do and struggle with their quirks. But I know you, it's just not your style is it'' she giggles the last part.

Her fathers laugh along with her knowing that no matter what they offer he will say no. Regardless of Alec's decision the pair's parents are proud of them for getting into the school.

As they get home Y/N calls out to her best friend saying "Hey uh can you come over and sleep over if that's fine I mean. Like old times?"

He blushes of course she doesn't see it and he says "Yeah of course let me go grab some clothes and tell my mom and dad that I'm sleeping over at your house"

She nods and walks inside telling her dad's who are now relaxing on the couch, "Dad uh Alec is sleeping over okay"

Aizawa griminces but Mic elbows him saying a quick "Okay honey I'll let him inside and send him upstairs goodnight love you." his husband says a quick I love you to his daughter also.

As the girl lays on her bed she thinks about the person she saved that day not only him but the medic that kept flirting with her. Alec walks in one of his best friend hanging off of her bed upside down, he looks at her knowing she is about to fall off of her bed. As he thinks this the thought becomes a reality she falls off the bed with a thump. She groans as her head hits the floor and Alec laughs at her as she gets up she starts to giggle with him. The two best friends laugh knowing this isn't the first time she has done this but it isn't the last time.

The girl enthusiastically gets back on the bed and pats the side signaling Alec to come and sit. He goes to sit next to her wondering what she's about to say next. She pulls out her ipad which has her apple pencil connected to it and quickly pulls up a drawing app. It soon clicks that she would like advice on her hero costume.

"So Alec I know you are wondering why I have brought you here today. But by the look on your face, I think you started to figure it out. I need your big brain to help me figure out what kinda hero costume I should have. I need ideas man please help me" she pouts while looking at him.

He laughs at her antics moving his hand to signal her to scoot over so he can sit next to her. He then says to her "You know N/N for someone who has always wanted to be a hero I'm surprised you haven't figured out your costume yet. Let's figure out what best goes with your quirk first okay then go from there."

The two eighteen-year-olds try to sketch out her costume but end up failing miserably due to them messing around and teasing each other. They soon fall asleep, Aizawa goes in to check in on his daughter, and Alec seeing that they are both asleep he takes the blanket at the edge of the bed and drapes it over them. He then turns off the light and heads back to his and his husband's room.
