Chapter 8

         Seto's Pov

   I walked to the door with Ian and I stopped in front of the door frame. He stopped close to me and hugged me tight." I'm only going for a few hours. Why don't you get to know more of the team?" Ian said. I nodded, nuzzling into his neck. After the hug, we stood there staring into eachother's eyes, slowly getting closer." Hey can you guys move it?" Ty said out of nowhere, arms folded, glaring at us. We jumped a little, until we noticed who it was. What's wrong with that guy??? I rolled my eyes and walked outside with Ian. I stopped at the steps, watching Ian go back to the park. I think I am falling in love with him... I sighed

  I stayed on the porch, until Ian was out of sight. I walked back inside to see Sky on the stairs staring at the squid doll I crushed with my hands. I sat next to him, earning a look from him." Hey, seto, have you seen this?" Sky said raising the squid doll to my sight. I examined the doll to see nothing out of the blue." All I see was holes where my fingers dug in." I said confused." Look closer" He said moving it closer" don't you see the scorched parts on the doll?" Now that he mentions it, I do see it.....odd....."I think you did it. It IS where you stabbed it." Sky said, holding his chin, looking at me. I shrugged at him and he did the same. He then proceed to rip the tentacles off and yell " Jerome if you bring another one of these annoying beasts in the house, you're dead." I giggled at his outburst and he smiled. I felt a stare on me when he did that, but I didn't look to see if someone was staring or not.

  After a while of exploration, I go to what seems to be a backyard. I watched as Mitch and Jerome fight eachother with fake swords and axes. I waved to them and Jerome waved back as Mitch touched with his sword." Ha got'cha!" Mitch gloated." No fair! Seto distracted me!" Jerome defended. We giggled as Jerome pretended to pout." Hey, seto, you want a turn?" Mitch asked holding a sword for me. I nodded and sat down." No thank you, but can I watch?" They nodded and got into stances.

  I watched as Mitch beat Jerome again for the 5th time, and Jerome pleads his case of why he lost." No fair, the sun was in my eyes!" He pouted." I'm gonna go do something else, ok?" I said as I stand up. They both wave goodbye and I went inside. I see Jason in the corner of my eye in the kitchen, cleaning dishes." Hey, Jason, what'cha doing?" I ask." I'm cleaning up. I heard Tyler was coming over, so I thought I might clean up for him." He answered." Who's Tyler?" I asked confused. I kinda see Jason blush, but tried to hide it." U-uhh, w-well..." Jason stuttered" H-he is a f-friend. Yeah, a friend." I look at him, watch as he fumbled with a rag. I smile and leave the room.

  I got bored of watching tv, so I went outside. I saw Ty sitting outside by a tree with his headphones on looking out to the street. I walk towards him, but thoughts were trying to keep me away. He doesn't like me, so why give him the light of day? That didn't stop me though. I was standing by him, watching him." What do you want?" Ty's voice rings." To talk" I simply say" listen, I know we got off at a bad start, but I'd like to be friends." I smile at the end and he gives an annoyed sigh as he takes his headphones off." What do you want to talk about?" He asked. I shrugged" Well, who's this 'Tyler' Jason was talking about?" I asked." Oh, you mean his boyfriend? Yeah, they aren't officially dating, but you can tell they both like each other." He said" Now, is that it? I'd like to go back to my music." I sighed and left, wishing Ian was here to entertain me.
