Seto's Pov

I woke up in an unfamiliar white room that only had one window. I realized, I was in the hospital, alone. That was until a nurse came in with a tray, dropping it when she saw me, fully awake. She ran out of the room screaming for a doctor. After a while, she came back, with a doctor that looked no older then I am. "Good evening, Mr. Sorcerer, I'm so glad you're awake, for a long time, we thought you'd die any day now. It doesn't matter, all we have to do is pull the IV out and you're good to go." He said as he turned off the machinery. "How long was I out? What happened to my friends?" I asked as he pulled the IV out of my body. "You've been gone for 10 years, after the 3rd year only one boy came to see you. Ian, I believe his name was, and even after the 5th year he stopped coming to see you." The doctor explained. I sighed. I thanked the doctor and the nurse and I was on my way. I knew exactly where I was going next, the Crafted household.

Once I got to the house I saw a little boy sitting by the tree in front of the house, drawing. He was humming a sweet tune I couldn't remember the name of. He looked up to see me and stopped what he was doing. "Mom, dad, there's a stranger in our yard!" He yelled as a brown haired girl walked out. She smiled at me and greeted me. "You must be Seto, Ian told me so much about you, isn't that right, honey?" She looked at Ian who was awestruck that I'm here. "May I come in?" I asked as softly as I could. "Of course you can come in, Seto." Ian said.

The house was almost the exact same as it was before, only difference is that there's children's toys in almost every room. I sat down at the table, along with them. "It's been so long since I've seen you, the doctors said that you weren't going to survive." Ian said. I just looked at him, broken hearted. "Oh right, uh Ashley, can you let us talk in private, please?" He asked looking at his wife. She nodded and went to the kitchen. "Seto, I need to explain."He started "No,no you don't have to explain I see perfectly clear." I interrupted. "Listen, Seto, I've missed you so much, I thought I'd never see you again. That's why I moved on, I'd thought you would understand." He explained to me. "I know, I just didn't know it would hurt this much after 10 years" I almost yelled. "If it's any of your business, I always had you on my mind, every day." He said nicely. I sighed and thought things through. "I think I should leave, it's been good catching up with you." I got up "wait Seto-" he tried, but I was already halfway out the door. "Listen, you have a beautiful wife, sweet children, and a wonderful life. And, I get it, I wouldn't wait 10 years for someone like me either." I said before slamming the door shut.

I walked all the way to the lonely park, at least it didn't change. I sat on my use to be bed, watching the full moon rise into the brightly lit sky. I closed my eyes. I just wanted all to end. When I opened them up again, everything was black. I gasped when I saw the shadow again standing in front of me. "I can make it end if you give me your sorcery in exchange." It bargained. I thought about it, until it was too late. The shadow disappeared, and all I see is darkness with a light at the end of it. Am I dying?
