Chapter 13

Ian's Pov

Oh god, where did Seto go? I shouldn't have said that, I just didn't want Ashley to chase and kill him. Where did he go? I miss him so much, this is all my fault....

Seto's Pov

I followed the boy that went down the alley. Once I got to the end, I saw the boy, staring at me in sorrow. I stop and look at him, confused until a shadow creature jumped out. I screeched until the shadow put his hand on my mouth. "Shhh" is all it said as I felt something sliding into my stomach. I try to scream, but his hand was still on my mouth. "Sir, I think that's enough." The boy said sheepishly in a thick Australian accent. The shadow pulled out what I think was a knife, and slash my stomach. He sets me down as he starts chanting a spell or something along those lines. I feel my strength diminish as he chants faster. I see a purple ora flow into his fingers. I started to black out, the last thing I heard was Ian calling my name.

Ian's Pov

I run to the house to see Jerome and Mitch fighting each other, again. I run up to them and said frantically "Guys, Seto is missing and I can't find him! Go tell the others and get them to search with me!". They look back at each other and ran inside. I heard a scream, towards the alley. It wasn't long until it was silenced. I knew who's voice that was, it was Seto's.

I went running with Adam following me. It took us a while before we got to the alley, but we made there to see a black shadow chanting, taking some purple ora from Seto, who was bleeding out. "Seto!" I screamed and the shadow disappeared, ora returning to Seto. I ran to Seto and sat by him, pushing on his wound, so he wouldn't bleed as much. "Adam, call an ambulance!" I yelled to Adam and he obeyed. "Here, let me wrap the wound." An Australian voice said. I look up to see a blonde boy standing by Seto's side, sitting down, taking off Seto's shirt. "W-Who are you?" I whimper, trying not to cry. "I'm Brice, a... friend of Seto." He said as he wrapped Seto's small, weak body. Once he finished, I heard an ambulance stop and I turn around to see two E.M.T.s with a gurney. I turn around to see Seto, but not Brice. The paramedics picked up Seto gingerly, taking him to the ambulance. I sat by his side, grabbing his hand and kissing it and sometimes his head.

Once we got to the hospital, they took him out and I followed, until Adam grabbed my shoulder. "Wait, they'll come out. All they have to do is fix Seto up, and he's a strong kid, he will survive this, I promise you." Adam says, leading me to the waiting room. I nodded to him, not saying a word, trying not to cry. We waited for what seems like forever in hell to me, until a nurse came out and called my name. Adam and I followed the nurse to a the reception." Mr.Ssundee, I have good news and bad news." She said, sadly "W-What's the news-s?" I tried not to stutter, but failing." The good news is that Seto is alive and fine, we stitched his wounds and cleaned them. The bad news is...." the nurse said in a happy voice, but ending in a sad voice." Seto is......... in a coma and we don't know how long he's going to be in it." She says " I'm so sorry...." I want to cry right there, but I sucked it up to say " C-Can we see h-him?" She nodded and lead us to a small, white room with a bed with Seto in it. I heard the beating of his heart on the monitor, keeping me happy inside that he is still alive. I grabbed his hand and looked at his beautiful face, not being able to see his chocolate brown eyes for a long time. "I'm sorry Seto, I shouldn't have said those things, I didn't want you to get hurt. I love Seto, I love you more than there are stars in the skys, I wish I told you sooner." And with that, I kissed his motionless lips and hugged him afterwards. "I'll wait for you Seto, for a thousand years or even more."
