odessa had woke up on max, seeing that he was still sleeping and the netflix was still playing. she climbed out of the bed pulling up her shorts from early.
she walked out the room downstairs seeing it empty.
but she saw someone on the back porch.

"vinnie?" odessa asked walking out of the porch
"sup" he said lighting the cigarette he had, connie didn't usually smoke unless he was stressed.

"want some?" he inhale taking it out of his mouth.
"no." she declined sitting on the same chair as him.
"so you and max huh?" he repeated the same action
"we're not together."
"sure" he scoffed
"it's comfort thing vin-"
"comfort shit my ass. i see the way you look at each other." he burned out the cigarette and got up walking into the kitchen and i followed

"we don't look at each other, anyway." she watched him grab the liquor bottle from the top on the fridge
"yes you guys do, you don't see it because your blind in love" he popped open the bottle pour it into a solo cup.
"what the fuck does that mean?" she grabbed a cup repeating the same action as vinnie

"it's means you love him." he took the whole bottle and walked to the living room with odessa following behind him.
"no i don't.." "he's my...my..fuck" she sat down making vinnie do the same
"exactly." "fuck odessa..don't you see." vinnie said pouring half the bottle in his mouth.
"i like you god damn it" he poured more
"alexa didn't break up with me..i broke up with her because i..fuck i love you." he drank the rest of the bottle
"vinnie. you what?"max said rubbing his eyes walking into the living room

"fuck. and life could be and worse. i'm leaving." vinnie had got up walking into the kitchen grabbing another bottle of liquor.
"vin..wait.wait you what." odessa said looking at him confused. she didn't get a minute too think.
"i fucking leaving. i said to much." vinnie walked out the door,slamming it.

"des you good?" max said walking towards her
"max..vin basically said you loved me.."
"des i do.i don't wanna be a comfort person..i wannabe with you." max said grabbing her hands

"oh shit..fuck ok" she thought to her self
"you don't have to say anything but i do." max grabbed her face softly pulling in kissing her. maybe that why all the kisses where passionate and slow..
"fuck max..." she groaned pulling away "i like you too but i don't know it i can handle this relationship shit right now.." she backed up a bit

"odessa..i'll still be here with you even if things don't work out i'll be here." max said pulling her closer in a hug, he held her tight knowing they'd never kiss again.
