CHAPTER 16 - I'M FINE

CHANYEOL'S POV

"I... I don't need the medicine kit it's just a scratched."

Kyungsoo glared at her. 

"I'm fine. I'll clean this myself."

"I'll do it."

I was about to enter the Nurse's Room where I followed them but Kyungsoo held her hand making Ji Eun speechless and stared at Kungsoo's sincerity. I have never seen him so worried with other people. He have been caring toward the members but I've never seen him cared for a girl.

I, myself, was flustered and so I hid beside the door.

"Tss... She probably is jumping up and down from happiness deep inside." I peeked a little at the door "I might tear that smile away." I muttered. I mean what's the fuss? It was just a scratch. "Does he really need to sit beside her just to put an ointment on it? Tsss..."

"Ouch!" She cringed and I quickly peek on them.

"Oh! Sorry!"

She just smiled.

Kyungsoo smiled back at her. "What is that? You look so tough but then you cry like a baby too"

What's with that smile. Is she being shy with him. Wow! I can't believe this. Is she really in pain. It seems like she's so happy right now."

"Huh! He even blew on the wound? Wow? Is he flirting on her? I can't see this anymore."

"You know what I was a medical student but whenever I got wounded, I would actually cry a lot even if the wound's not that deep; even if it is just a scratch, I would act as if it's a terminal illness and beg my mom to put something on it. My mom would say: You're too old to be crying, what would your patient say when they see their doctor crying because of that scar."

"She's right." He chuckled "When did you learn to act so tough?"

"When she's gone."

I was about to go but this time I wanted to go to her. I wanted to be the one who's comforting her.

"You don't have to give me that look."

Kyungsoo's smile earlier slowly fade away and he was sincerely looking at her.

"I'm sorry."

"You don't need to."

Listening to her voice, I could feel the pain.

"Oh, you're done already. It was not that painful after all."

"You don't need to act tough though."

"Huh? I'm serious. It was just a scratch. It just got stingy because of the ointment but now it's gone."

"Not that"

She looked back at Kyungsoo and it felt like she read what was on his mind. Tears slowly clouded her eyes.

"Oh... I'm sorry... I just couldn't help it sometimes..." She looked away from his gaze.
