03 | Good To Know

 'Why don't you call her and see if we're right. It'll put your mind at rest so we can relax for the rest of the day. You will stay won't you Taehyung?'

'I'd like nothing better.' He smiles his big boxy smile and leans in to kiss Jungkook. 'And please call me Tae. I'll call her now, shall I?'

'Yeah, of course, Tae.'

Tae takes his phone and calls Rosé. She picks up straight away and says brightly,

'Hi Tae, I hope you didn't get too much sleep last night.'

'I slept very well last night, thank you!'

'Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. I thought you and Jungkook seemed to be getting on so well.'

'We were, we are. What are you talking about?' he says, confused.

'Don't give me that! There were sparks flying between you two, don't try and tell me you weren't up all night fucking.'

'You're much more direct than I ever remember you being, Rosé.'

'So did you two...'

'Yes...'

'So, how was it? He's good isn't he?' she laughs.

'Eww, that's creepy, I'd forgotten you're his ex.'

'I am here you know,' Jungkook chips in.

'Sorry Tae,' she says, sounding not at all sorry.

'I was rather hoping to stay here today...do you mind?'

'Of course not. I knew when I set you two up, that would be the last I'd see of you. You're ideal for each other. Though I hope you won't forget me completely,' she laughs again.

'Of course not...and thanks for introducing us.'

'No problem. Now get back to Jungkook, I'm sure he's keen to have you all to himself.'

'Thanks Rosé, see you soon.'

'Sure, bye Tae.'

Tae hangs up the call and smiles at Jungkook.

'All good?' Jungkook asks.

'Yeah, we were right, she was expecting it.'

'So what was she saying about me?' Jungkook asks mischievously.

'She said you're a good lover,' Tae says, amused.

'Can't argue with that,' Jungkook says with a satisfied grin.

'Odd that she didn't mention you being so smug,' Tae says, fake seriously.

Jungkook pulls Tae in for a passionate kiss.
