Jungkook closes his laptop shut and sighs. The call was great, but he misses Tae so badly. The house seems bigger and emptier without Tae and he rattles around like he never used to.
He settles himself to watch a bit of TV before bed, but he can't concentrate. His thoughts are full of Tae. He thinks back to their Skype call and smiles. It felt good to take control and play like that again, though of course, the game was risk free. Tae could have stopped any time and there was no danger of hurting him. But still. And Tae obviously enjoyed it too.
He really hopes they can make it through this separation. He once said he would never let Tae go, but he has. He didn't want Tae to go, but how could he be the one to stop him from realising a dream?
He recalls taking Tae to the airport and their emotional goodbye; their promises to be true to each other. He drove home, thinking all the way, of films like "Love Actually" and imagining Tae changing his mind at the airport and coming back to him and their dramatic reunion. But of course real life isn't like that. And the irony isn't lost on him that the making of Hollywood films with their imaginary happy endings is so often the cause of break-ups in real life. But he won't be a jealous, overbearing, insecure boyfriend like Tae's ex. The ex that Tae is now co-starring opposite. He really doesn't like it, but he has to trust Tae.
He tries to put the thought out of his head and turns back to the TV. He laughs a hollow laugh, he can't believe it, "Love Actually" is just starting. The last thing he needs right now is a romantic movie. He flicks through the channels looking for something else and settles on "Top Gear", the car programme, but then he starts thinking about his Stag and then the drive to the Riverside Restaurant with Rosé and Tae that first night, and then the drive back from the strip club. In his thoughts, all roads lead to Tae. So he gives up and goes to bed.

Jungkook pulls up in front of Rosé's place and honks his horn. When he sees her walking towards him he smiles and says,
'Hi Rosé, lovely to see you.'
'Lovely to see you too Jungkook.'
They embrace warmly.
'I thought we'd drive out to the Riverside, if you're good with that?'
'Yeah of course, the food's great there.'
'Top down?'
'Is there any other way?'
Jungkook laughs.
'No, not really.'
He quickly lowers the canopy of the car, so they can feel the wind in their hair.
