Tae opens the door to his little Hollywood house. It's been a long day of filming and he's tired. They had a sunrise scene to shoot, so he's been up since well before dawn. He drops the keys into a bowl by the door and walks through to the sitting room. He flops down on the sofa and drops his head back sighing. He's thinking about Kookie.
He misses him badly.
It's fine when he's working, there's no time to think then, but here in the house, it's so quiet and empty. He misses the sex of course, but mostly he misses being kissed and held and just sharing things with him, sharing the small details of their lives. He thinks back to their conversation about him taking the part and Tae hears Kookie's words,
'My life is here Tae.'
He feels sad and a bit hurt. He had thought that he meant more than that, but they had only known each other for 4 months when he got the offer, it just seems like they've known each other longer. When he'd told Kookie, he had hoped that he'd ask him not to go, but...well he hadn't. He really wasn't that set on breaking in to the Movies, though Kookie was right, it probably was a once in a lifetime opportunity.
He has his ex Hyungsik to thank for it, he now knows. Apparently, it was Hyungsik who suggested his name to the production company and that's why the scout had come to see him at the theatre. It had come as a bit of a shock when he found out he was co-starring opposite him. He has a suspicion that Hyungsik wants them to get back together and that's why he suggested Tae for the part. He's certainly being as charming as possible on set. He'd forgotten how charming he could be.
Kookie had not looked best pleased when he had told him about Hyungsik, but he reassured him that he was not interested, that he was only his. He loves Kookie for so many reasons, but one of the things he loves the most is the fact that he is grounded and dependable. Not that life with Kookie is anything close to ordinary, but he is a practical man, who can cook and repair cars. He is rooted in reality, whereas the majority of his friends and previous relationships have been with other actors and they have all had a mercurial, unreliable quality to them.
He also loves Kookie's cocky confidence. He knows he can be a handful and Kookie doesn't let him get away with anything and that makes him feel cared for and loved. At least he used to be confident. That night though. Kookie's never really been the same, always handling him with kid gloves since then.
He sometimes wonders if they'll make it through this separation. Neither has suggested wanting to split, but he knows that long-distance relationships are notorious in the film industry for falling apart. They'll just have to make it work somehow, he really loves Kookie and doesn't want to lose him.
He wishes he were here right now and they could make love. He thinks back to their first day together and how Jungkook fucked him in the shower. He shivers at the memory of being held up like that. He feels his dick growing and wants release, so he takes himself to the shower.
