{Louis refuses to see the truth and so eleanor has to set him straight}

"Louis!" someone shouted from downstairs, ripping the feather haired boy out of his thoughts. It was already late afternoon and the boy had been quiet busy. He only recently got settled when he was suddenly interrupted.
As much as he would refused to acknowledge it, he knew pretty well who the voice belonged to, as well has how he knew his little break would be over so that she. Was there.
A minute ago, Louis was comfortably seated on his king-sized bed, a hot mug in his right hand and a drama book in his left, everything the boy understood under a chilly night. Ever since his so called 'fiancè' had left in the morning, Louis was left alone with his thoughts and work. He did love eleanor, dearly and with all his heart but sometimes the girl was a handful and to be quite honest he saw her more as a friend then a lover even though he struggled to admit that.
Never once in a lifetime he would have thought how his life turned out to be. Louis was 25, 40 million on his bank account after an successful Musik career, officially superannuated and engaged with a beautiful woman, several men where drooling about. All the time he had chased after a life like this, but still there was one major thing missing and eleanor had known for a while that this something was supposed to be her. Louis had always seen something special about her, liked her company besides the fact that she was very good looking  and in his mind that meant she had to be the one. The boy had forced himself to fall somewhat in love with her despite the only alternativety being someone who wasn't an option. Not for Louis Conservative family. "Louis, can you come downstairs and help me with my luggage real quick?" Eleanor asked from downstairs. Of cause, being the good guy he was, Louis immediately got up and made his way down to help. He found his fiance in the hallway, pulling a large suitcase after her and knowing eleanor, she would have at least three of these.
"God El, how much did you buy?" Louis huffed, seeing not three but six suitcases standing in the driveway next to her white Mercedes.
Already regretting to ever got up, Louis lifted two of them at once pulling the suitcases up the few steps to Thier hallway. Eleanor got out behind him, quietly grabbing the last two suitcases and dragging them into the hallway her self. She looked around leaving all of the luggage at the door while she went to the kitchen getting an cold bottle of water. It took Louis a second to recover from the unexpected activity.
"Seriously El, how much did you spend there? You have only been gone for a few hours..." Louis asked slightly annoyed as he followed her.
"You know what Louis, maybe you should spend more time with me, then Max wouldn't feel the need to buy me all these things. I'd much rather have a loving fiance then a carrying lover anyway." The brunette girls muttered.
A moment of silence fell over them both, Louis looking at Eleanor Shocked and frozen.

"What?"he finally asked, clenching his firsts in disstress. The brunette had seemed to stop in her tracks, swallowing the Las bit of water that had been already in her mouth when she dropped the bomb, while er brain struggled to fine the right words. Finally, she sighed, putting the bottle down on one of the counters."Don't act surprised Louis. It's not like you care anyways-" "Yes I do!" the brunette boy argued getting worked up, but to his own surprise he didn't really feel hurt to be honest, betrayed yes but not hurt. Yes he didn't like eleanor sleeping with another man but not because he loved her, because it was against his idea of a functioning family. Better to say against his parents idea of that.
" No you don't Louis. I sleeped with max, I sleeped with you manager. Fucking hell, I flirtet with Zayn right in front of you're eyes and you didn't even acknowledge it!" eleanor shouted, all clamity gone, suddenly something seemed to have klick inside her and she went full on attack. Louis stood dumpfolded, silently agreeing to what she just said. He pretty well knew that his fiance was right, he didn't care, he didn't love her in a romantic way. He'd never loved any girl in a romantic way and honestly eleanor didn't deserve the way he ignored her. Louis saw eleanor sinking into one of the barstools, while she held her face in discomfort, trying to not yell.
Louis knew damm well who his heart actually belonged to, but he wouldn't be able to express his feelings ever, he had to make a family, raise children and find a lovely girl who could help him archiv exactly that Eleanor had known right away she was mir or less a custodian.
And even though, Louis always thought eleanor was the one for him, the one who would give him what he so desperately desired, a family to make his parents happy. "Tell me louis-" eleanor began, snatching the boy out of his thoughts. He had been so caught up, he hadn't realise he slipped a tear with all the emotions thrown around. "-what do I Have to do, to get your attention? Should I just leave and take all your money? But that doesn't count to you, does it?" Eleanor asked in a low, almost threatening voice. "What do I have to do, huh? How many times do I have to cheat right in front of you before you realise I am doing it. Before you break up because you finally realize I'm not the one?" The whole situation was messy, two adults lost of words, to say what they so desperately needed to get off thier chest. One of them unable, because he actually cared, and the other because his heart was long given to someone else. "-Or should I do the one thing you'll find disturbing enough to actually notice? Do I really need to take the one thing away from you that you can't afford to lose? Maybe I should.. What do you say Louis, should I sleep with him?!"  eleanor spits venomously the pure frustration speaking out of her but even though, Louis tensed up right away. "Oh, you finally show a reaction, so tell me, should I sleep with Harry? Take him away so you finally see how it feels to be the second choice, if even that?" "Don't you dare touch him!" The boy shouted back, suddenly all grief replaced with pure anger. Eleanor knew exactly which buttons she needed to push when it came to Louis. Three years of relationship paying off. Silence fell over them. Eleanor smiled sadly while Louis breathing seemed to pick up, the realization of the spoken slowly sinking in. "I-" he tryed but quickly shut himself when he didn't found the words. "Listen Louis, I'm sorry... But I'm just not the one.." eleanor spoke softly taking her engagement ring off her finger. The noise when the cold Metal hit the counter was everything that Louis mind could register. "I love you Louis, I really do, but I can't let you marry me when you clearly love someone else. Sure I'll probably grief for a while but this-" she explained calmly pointing between her and him. "-is destroying me and you. You act happy but I know you're not. You say his name in your sleep, not mine. You want him to be with you, not me. You love him Lou.. " "I'm very sorry eleanor... I am..." The brunette boy finally whispered, hearing the pure truth in eleanors words. She really loved him truly, enough to let him go. "El..-" "No, it's alright, really. You wanted to be the perfect son for your parents. You don't need to explain anything... Just promise me,...promise me, to love him like he deserves to be loved. Treat him with the respect and care you missed to spend on me." She softly spoke."I'll have my things packed by tomorrow-" "No El, please, you don't have to-" "Yes I do." She argued again smiling sadly with teary eyes. "-and now man up and go get yourself the boyfriend you deserve. Because you do love, you deserve to be happy, whatever your parents say." "El, I-" "Go!" "Yes... Okay, yeah..." The boy stuttered, grabbing his things while his brain absolutely shut down all debuts. Louis quickly collected his keys, phone and wallet before hurrying out of the house.
"Thank you Eleanor!"
