{Louis misses his mum while Christmas and Harry just loves him a lot}

Cuddled up under the sheets with a hot mug of chocolate in his lap, a curly haired boy sat in front of the fire place. Colorful socks decorated the whole house along with fairylights and stars lighten the room. A familiar warmth filled the room and the smell of cinnamon was everywhere while the cracking from burning wood filled the air, making the whole room a warm escape from the massiv storm outside. It was a rough winter with everything that comes along.
Heavy snowflakes knocked against the windows and the wind blew noisy against the outdoor walls.
The ground was already covered all in white snow, only leaving a very few spots free. The only noise that interrupted the peaceful silence inside and out, was a quite sniffle coming from a ball of wrapped blankets netx to the curly head.

"Why does it hurt so much Haz? Why dose it still hurt?" the voice hiccup, muffled by the blanket ball, which hide the owner of the sniffling in its middle. "I can't tell you Lou. Sometimes the universe is just cruel. Sometimes it hurts. It'll always do." the curly haired boy mumbled, pulling the blanked ball further against his side.
"I wish I could take it away from you."
"But why dose it hurt now? It's my birthday.. I'm supposed to be happy. I want to be happy Harry."

"I know baby..I want you to be as well"

A silence fell over the two boys again. Non of them found the words needed, so Harry sat there, holding a wrapped up Louis as tight as possible, while Louis sobbed into the fluffy blanket. It was the 24th of December, Christmas eve. The two boys were supposed to celebrate with their familys. The problem was that Louis family wasn't complete anymore. Someones were missing and Louis felt like he betrayed them by looking at the colorful lights and happy children playing in the street. He felt guilty being happy without them. First he even refused to decorate at all but Harry convinced him to at least do a little bit, knowing how much the brunette boy loved decorating everything nicely.

"Sometimes people have to go, even though we think need them. I guess your mum was needed up there, but she's here. She's with you all the time." Harry tried to explain, taking another sib of his hot chocolate.
Louis died down sobbes came back up, making the poor boy choke on his own tears.

" B-But it's my birthday. And it's snowing. I love it when we get a white Christmas... I want to show them... I-I-I-" Louis sobbed terribly, to the point were the couldn't take it anymore.
"I want them to see the snow. I always loved withe Christmas. Do you remember how mum called me her little snowflake whenever it was snowing? Mum always said it was a birthday present from God for me. She always said he loved me so much, he gifted me the withe Christmas." the boy cryed. Harry pulled Louis even closer and gave his forehead a passionate kiss as if to tell him everything would be fine.
" Maybe this year she isn't here to tell you that it's you're birthday present, but I'm sure she's up there looking down... Maybe she was the one sending it this year? It's your mums birthday present." Harry tried, to which Louis let out a wet laugh.
"I miss her Harry."

"I know you do Snowflake. I know you do."
