Chapter 7: Letting the demon roam free

Akira P.O.V
I was sitting in class waiting for Mr aizawa to show up while I kept wondering about last night's events. ' Maybe I should visit Kisuke after school' I thought. Though unbeknownst to me, Bakugou was glaring directly at me. " I AM... walking through the door like a normal person" said the pro hero All-Might as he bursted through the door. " Is that really All-Might?" Asked mina." Woah! And he's in his Silver-age costume!" Shouted Kaminari. " Okay, okay, calm down. Today we will be doing battle training. So you will be needing these." He said as the wall opened, holding many suitcases. Soon everyone got their respective suitcases and went to the changing rooms. Though I did not have a hero costume, due to my shihakusho providing both protection for my body and identity. Soon, I arrived at the room( dripped out as usual) and was immediately surrounded. " Wow! Your costume is really cool Kurosaki!" Said Uraraka. " Yeah it's really manly!" Said Kirishima. This attention only made Bakugou's glare intensify, as he walked to a corner. Allmight then explained the training exercises, and announced the teams. I was on Team B with Kyoka Jiro and our opponent was Team D consisting of Lida and Bakugou. After we heard the rules, we proceeded to the fake building.

As Bakugou and Lida hid the bomb, Jiro and I decided on a plan. " Your quirk is sound based right?" I asked as she nodded. " Okay then use it to locate Lida and the bomb" I told her. " What about Bakugou?" She asked. " He will most likely chase after me, so if we separate, you should be fine." I told her. Soon we heard footsteps coming our way as a voice echoed throughout the building. " Come out Kurosaki!!" Shouted Bakuguo. " Go find the bomb, I will handle him." I told Jirou as she nodded and ran. I then came face to face with Bakugou as a smirk crept onto his face. " So he finally shows himself. The so called King of UA!" Shouted Bakugou. He then raised his hand as an explosion shot from it, though I quickly sidestepped the blast. I tried to swing my sword, but I felt an ominous aura being released from my body. Recognizing the feeling, I quickly stopped myself, only to receive a blast from Bakugou. " You don't seem that great!" Shouted Bakugou. Each time I tried to attack or defend, I could feel myself changing into the hollow from last night. There was only a few minutes left, and at the rate this was going, I would lose.

Observation Room
Everyone watched in awe, as Bakugou was single handedly beating Akira. " Why is Akira hesitating so much?" Asked Uraraka. " I don't know, but he showed way more power during the entrance exam" said Momo. " It's that red and black aura" said Todoroki as everyone stared at the boy. " What do you mean?" Asked Kirishima. " Everytime he goes in for an attack or to defend, that red and black aura appears on him and he immediately hesitates. Whatever it is, he doesn't want to use it." He said as everyone turned back to the screen.

Akira P.O.V
" Jiro, have you located the bomb yet?" I asked through the earpiece. Though before I could hear her response, I dodged a blast, causing my earpiece to fall. Bakugou then picked up the earpiece and listened to her response, as a smirk appeared on his face. " Your teammate is directly 3 stories above us. Since you won't fight back, maybe your teammate may pose more of a challenge." He said as he raised his gauntlets to the roof. " Bakugou, stop! You'll kill her!" Shouted All-might through the speaker. " She won't die if she dodges" Bakugou replied as he pulled the pin on his gauntlet. A massive blast then shot from the gauntlet, destroying building on it's way to Jiro. Without hesitation, I let my reiatsu flow as I Shunpo'd to Jiro. Though before I could reach her, everything went black.

Jirou P.O.V
Using my quirk I heard Bakugou set off a massive explosion towards me. I tried to run but I felt the heat wave colliding with my skin. I closed my eyes in fear but never felt pain, and realised that I was being held. When I opened my eyes, I saw the most frightening thing I ever experienced. It was Kurosaki, but he was wearing half of a black and white mask. His pupils were snow white while his sclera was pitch black. The cold look on his face was unnerving, and he felt... dangerous.
