Chapter Two

Wendy's Japanese class was finally finished and now it was time for her study hall.

The teacher in Wendy's study hall loved her. Wendy was the only student who really studied and didn't talk back, start fights or use her phone. With this, Wendy also got some perks.

Before and after class, the teacher would give Wendy a piece of candy for her good behavior. Wendy had always been a teacher's pet.

Walking into class, Wendy saw her best friend, Joy. Joy, well, in that class, was the complete opposite of Wendy.

Joy talked to the other students and used her phone instead of studying or doing homework like she was supposed to. The teacher was honestly shocked that such 2 different people were best friends.

"Heyy Wendy! Come over here!" Joy shouted from across, earning a "shhh" from the teacher. "Psh, ignore her." Joy told Wendy.

Wendy took a seat next to Joy, setting her backpack down next to her chair before taking her notebook out. "What is it?" Wendy asked. "Well, me and my friends are playing a little game, and I want you to join in!" Joy smiled, clasping her hands together. "Ehhh... I don't know, Joy. The games you and your friends play always include Alcohol, Drugs, or just bad stuff!" Wendy said. Honestly, Wendy wasn't wrong. Joy was either daring her friends to smoke crack or her friends would dare her to chug a whole bottle of beer.

"Well, this one is different!" Joy continued. "This one is about love." Joy said, Wendy giggling immediately after. "Really, Joy? Who are you gonna dare me to ask out, is this 6th grade again??" Wendy laughed once again, Joy crossing her arms.

"If you must know, it's a sorta love game." Joy smirked. "You pretend to date someone for 15 days, and whoever ends up falling in love first is the loser!" Joy explained.

"Wow, so you're saying love is a game?" Wendy said, chuckling after. "Well, in this case, yes!" The two girls giggled, being shut up after the teacher scolded them.

"Sure, I'll join in." Wendy told Joy, the younger girl having a shocked expession. "Really!? You'll join!?" Joy asked once again to get Wendy's reassurance. "Yup! It sounds fun. I need to talk to more people anyways.." Wendy replied, closing her locker.

"Kay! Meet at my house after school!" Joy told Wendy, the older girl nodding in approval. "See ya later!" Wendy waved, walking to her next class. Today was going to be scary, but Wendy felt excited at the same time.
