Irene arrived to school the next day flattered as ever because of her dream last night.

She walked down the hallways, Wendy nowhere in sight. She sighed in relief, walking to her locker to put her stuff away until Jennie walked up to her.

"Hey Rene! You just got here?" Jennie asked, Irene nodding. "Yeah, why do you ask?" Irene questioned, Jennie's jaw dropping. "So you don't know yet!?" Jennie asked, in shock.

"What?" Irene asked. "Did something happen?"

"Uh, yeah! Duh! You didn't hear about what happened with Wendy!?" Jennie asked, Irene's heart beat quickening. "No, what happened!?"

"She got into a fight!" Jennie exclaimed excitedly. "WHAT!?" Irene raised her voice, almost yelling.

"Yeah! Someone walked up to her and started testing her, so Wendy got physical!" Jennie explained. "Well, did Wendy win!?" Irene asked.

"No.. she's in the nurses office now." Jennie replied, Irene running off before Jennie could say anything.

"Ouch!" Wendy complained, the school nurse dabbing an alcohol covered cotton swab on her scratch to clean the blood.

"Well if you don't want to feel pain, you shouldn't have fought!" The nurse scolded, Wendy rolling her eyes and sighing.

Both Wendy and the nurse flinched when the door slammed open, Irene running in.

"Wendy, are you okay?!" Irene asked, rubbing her shoulder. "Ack, don't touch there!" Wendy complained, smacking Irene's hand away.

"It hurts there.." Wendy sighed.

"Young lady, do you have a pass to be here?" The nurse asked, Irene handing her a pink slip with a teachers name on it. "Let me type this in the computer and I'll be right with you, Wendy." The nurse said, typing away.

"Wendy, what happened? Why did you fight someone?!" Irene asked, worried. "It's not like you to do that, so why?" Irene asked once again.

"She was being mean.." Wendy replied quietly. "So you were defending yourself?" Irene asked.

"No, I was defending you." Wendy replied once again, leaving a suprised look on Irene's face.

"What do you mean defending me?" Irene asked Wendy. "A girl walked to me and started saying mean things about you. At first, I ignored her, but she started saying really mean things, and before I knew it, I just.. Hit her.." Wendy told Irene the story, Irene still being suprised.

Irene soon had her arms wrapped around Wendy, hugging her tightly. "Ouch- I said don't touch there! Really!" Wendy flinched, her arm in pain from being twisted and punched.

"Let's go." Irene whispered into Wendy's ear, getting a good grip on her hand. "Wha-" Wendy was about to ask before Irene pulled her off the chair, the two running out of the nurse's office.
